Hello all,

I'm writing a newbie article on BTC/altcoin exchanges, but the problem is that I am a newbie myself! Smiley

The article will basically have 2 sections:

1: Trading between currencies:
- btc-e
- Cryptsy
(-Mt.Gox - not recommending for now til their issues get sorted)

2: Cashing in and out to/from fiat
- bitstamp
(- localbitcoins - obviously not an exchange but I'm including it)

Would appreciate any other pointers that I should research.

Thanks Smiley

You could write about the upcoming threat major exchanges will face from new & quicker-to-adopt exchanges? Cryptsy is not too big to fail Wink

And what does it take to get a coin listed could be fun reading about.

Those are two great ideas. In all honestly, they're probably beyond the scope of the content I'm adding to my site at the moment, but for sure they'll be good subjects to research and write about. Thanks for the suggestion Smiley

In the meantime, this'll be more a newbs guide to the bigger exchanges and how to get their cash into and out of BTC (and other altcoins).

Added to list of exchanges to check out:

- Bter
- Vircurex
- CoinMarket.io
- CoinEx
