I totally agree with you on this, so many people now making good posts but they don't get their right values because f this new system.
If they're making rules then it was better if they've reset it same for everyone.

The most ridiculous 2 comments made on this forum are probably these. Sorry, what kind of head do you have? Have you been holding your own memberships with members who have contributed to the labor and have contributed to the forum until this time? The old members, who had reached a certain level before the merit system, were here while you were away and were using this forum for information, not for money. Unless you go as far as paragliding, it will be much harder to get the systems and if everyone wishes to be limited to the merit system these conditions will be called. It is not a question of resetting the Merit system, but it is a great rudeness that you have to look down on the members of these people and see how much you are dismissed. If you spend a little effort, you can win something, but you can not make a profit by pretending like a vase. A little labor, then criticism!

You don't have to agree but it makes sense and fair to start from start. People abused the system before merit was introduced so they getting merit because of spams is one example of why this system should have reset for everyone.

I appreciate this feature of merit points as I believe it will promote the qualitative content. However, most of the newbies are looking for the quickest ways to earn merits that results in the possibility of red feedback on their wall if they found guilty in the attempt of acquiring merit points in a wrong way. However, I believe that we should not completely restrict the ability to create content as that is the only way to gain merits in the case of the quality content. This feature is still new and hence it might take some more time to inculcate the habit of giving merit points to others for their quality posts and hence anyone should not stop sharing their knowledge just because they are not getting expected amount of merit from others.

The most frequent mistake and the most annoying mistake of the new members are the ridiculous and empty messages they have written with the willingness to win. Beside the creation of unnecessary message pollution, there is no respect for labor and many subjects are filled with trash messages. Very rarely, there are some members whose content they produce is of extremely high quality and they have the value they deserve. I can also point out that I am not complaining with the system if I think that many new members have received a red notification with merit fervor. We need memberships that are really laboring and producing quality content, not ours, polluting the forum for three cents.

I think it would be good, if every member receives per month x smerits according to their rank. E.g. newbies 4, jr members 10, members 25, and so on. This would be in addition to the 1/2 smerits received when your posts are merited.

I like merit as a way to thank or like posts and it would be good if there is more merit in circulation and every user can like/thank posts that are useful to them. I see good posts often, but hesitate to give merit, in case I find a different post that I want to merit (low supply of smerits). With automatic monthly smerits this wouldnt be a problem.

1.New members should have a total activity time of 120-150 hours before they could start posting.(there are lots of developers and programmers in this forum,maybe they could help how to implement it in bitcointalk system).This would surely make new users browse the forum and read begginers related topic until they completed the given activity time.

Some people register to ask a question that they cant find in google or in reddit (other major bitcoin community) and to make these people wait almost 1 week to ask a question is unwelcoming. Bitcoin should be an open community for anyone who has interest in crypto, and forcing people to lurk 1 week before they can ask questions or contribute is counterproductive.

I do not really think it would be such distributions or applications on a monthly basis, because many members of the forum will misuse this system. When there are many bad uses such as swaps, sales, etc., it will be difficult to deal with these memberships again and the forum management will have to go to a new application again. For that reason, I think it is beneficial for the current system to continue this way. Of course it will be nice to have an increase in merit resources.

Gaining information before income is earned and using it correctly will certainly contribute to better results. It is not possible to earn income unless there is information, and the users who register here with only the incentive of income are not very good either. For that reason, it is important to obtain information in the first stage, while income in the other stage will come automatically. The first plan should always be information exchange, the second plan must remain enthusiastic about earnings.

Unfortunately, every newly opened membership does not open like you, and it is also known that many new members are multi-membership. I wish every individual who has opened up a new membership can think or think of it as a basic purpose, but there is also a fact that almost all of the new individuals become members with the enthusiasm to earn money here. It does not change according to the nationality of the individual, so it would be wrong to blame a group of nations. But I would like to emphasize again that many new memberships are being opened with enthusiasm for earning money or multi accounts of former members. For that reason, the situation you mentioned is not a good fit for generalization and I do not think it will be a long time. I wish everyone did not fight with spam comments even though you are a member with the aim of getting information as you mentioned.

With that being said,no one can honestly state that he/she probably didn't have "earning" at the back of their mind before joining up..
It just happens to be the way one goes about it that matters,its true we're here to discuss about the bitcoin,but that comes with an incentive to earn,thus if the forum is benevolent enough to grant such privileges then it should honestly be treated "sacred",but it's really bad spammers hardly see it that way..
