According to the latest research data, the number of electronic money ATMs in Belgium and the Netherlands is increasing. Amsterdam is a leading city in the Benelux region, with 12 machines supporting digital coin transactions. Luxembourg, a traditional global financial center, is lagging behind in the availability of electronic money transactions. A number of electronic cash dispensers have been installed in Belgium and the Netherlands. In the last few years, Amsterdam has been the leading city. The biggest Dutch city may soon be famous for the number of 12 ATMs currently operating, according to a Statista report. At least two of them support both the buying and selling of electronic currencies such as bitcoin core (BTC), ethereum (ETH) and litecoin (LTC).
As of August 2018, Antwerp, the second most populous metropolitan area in Belgium, has three Bitcoin ATMs. Brussels, the capital of Belgium and Rotterdam, the second largest city in the Netherlands, both have two digital coin-operated devices. One of the Belgian machines, Coinatmradar, is just a buying device, offering users the opportunity to buy bitcoin cash (BCH) along with bitcoin core (BTC), ethereum (ETH) and litecoin (LTC).

In Belgium there are total 8 Bitcoin ATM machine.
In Antwerp 3 ATMs
In Brussels 2 ATMs
In Ghent 1 ATM
In Hasselt 1 ATM
In Sint-Truiden 1 ATM
Does anyone know anything about this topic?
I think Belgium government looks so supportive towards the cryptocurrency and its good thing. I wish every country should come with bitcoin ATM. |

Good to know that still there is one in the Philippines. If I remember correctly, that ATM machine is not working anymore. Better check it myself or ask a fellow man.

This is absolutely great news as more nations are connecting with the cryptosystem. Im hoping that before 2020 more than half of the world would have these ATMs in operation.

nice! this is a great start, more atm machines that accept bitcoins. I just wish there are more banks and more places that have atm machines that also accepts bitcoins and also establishments that also accepts bitcoin payments. that would be awesome!

Really nice to hear a country like Belgium so open-minded about embracing the blockchain technology and in fact providing an ATM machine for bitcoin. I really wanted to hear good news from countries who are not in favor of bitcoin that they're finally accepting the blockchain technology too one of these days.

IT is good that you have an ATM machine dedicated to bitcoin fanatics. But here in the country I belong we only have one ATM bitcoin machine, I tried it sometimes but I just noticed that the size of the transaction which I had made on the machine was so big. So after that expereinceI did not repeat its worth the money on the ATM machine. |

Is this true? well, if this true then bitcoin is spreading in belgium and I think that was a good news for all of us here. I hope other country woukdbdo this also, they have a bitcoin Atm machine it means that their banks is not against to them instead they helping each other to improved the economy of their country. |

That's great. putting an ATM for bitcoin in a county is a bold step for crypto. That shows that the future of crypto is clear and it can definitely run alongside with banks that provides ATM as well. I hope in our county we will have this set-up as well in order for other people to see it and create some sort of understanding and respect with the legitimate crypto/bitcoin.

This is good news Europe is opening doors for bitcoin adoption. With Belgium now joining the European countries already with cryptocurrency is now swelling making bitcoin acceptance globally possible. Bitcoin is proofing to be the future of global financial transaction where the whole business transactions will heading to. Belgium's economy will be better of as more cash will be moved in to that countries for business and it means more payment option for the citizens of that countries
