As a matter of fact, it is not possible to directly convert the price of most coins to USD. First you have to convert it to bitcoin for any transactions. The point is that its price based on Bitcoin. Accordingly, the price change of Bitcoin is directly affected them.

Bitcoin is known as the major coin which affects the price of other altcoins as it is the first cryptocurrency which was released in the crypto industry and it is similar to that of Index working in the Stock market where majority or stocks follow the Index trend and direction and similarly you can consider the bitocin as crypto index because it affect the prices of major altcoins like litecoin, Ethereum and Neocoin whether it is ptrend or downtrend, the bitcoin's price pattern is followed by other crypto coins.

I have actually studied that for some time and there is indeed a correlation between them, As the pioneer cryptocurrency,i believe that when something either positive or negative affects Bitcoins, It goes on to affect the other cryptos as well.

Yes it is actually what is happening every year ends, most of the price of cryptocurrency are always pumping in the market every time bitcoins price is starting to grow up just like what happened last year.

I think there is a solid reason. So far so many altcoins are made with bitcoin. So when bitcoin price goes up, the cost or charge foro those coins also rise. As a result, it afftects on the price of that altcoins. So accordingly, price of other coins also go up.

Because all those coins are following exactly the same pattern, and there is nothing weird with that, it has been like this since the beggining when the altcoins started to appear in the market. There is nothinhg to be worried about, the same happens when the coins go down

Although I am not agree with statement that other cryptos currencies have enter link with bitcoin, and if bitcoin price will increase their price will also increase. I think that there are some potentially good altcoins which do not have any link with bitcoin and I think that bitcoin price may not have any impact on its price.
