One week ago I bought new computer. My whole idea was to use it also for mining. So I found out that R9 200 series are good for mining so I bought one (Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB WindForce).

The problem is that I have max. 350 kh/s with this card. When i read about it, ppl said that 470-490 kh/s is normal so why I got just 350?

My comp:
i5-4440
MSI B85-G43
8gb ram
Western Digital Blue 1 TB
Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB WindForce(3 wentylatory)
Zalman Z3 Plus
Corsair VS 450W

Drivers: Catalyst 13.1

I tried everything.

Update drivers, bios, use BAMT for mining, changing cgminer conf (tried almost every setting, my settings was tested on other radeon r9 270x and friend had 480 kh/s when I got just 350).

my current cgminer settings:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.com -u worker -p pass --no-submit-stale --verbose -I 18 -w 128 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 10239 --gpu-fan 85 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1130 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20

My bios:
http://s14.postimg.org/g3p5ydzch/bios.png

When I use BAMT I have 450kh/s for like an hour and then kernel error appears and then I have 250kh/s.
Using cgminer on windows 350kh/s.

How I can fix this? What is wrong?

Have you tried installing beta drivers and latest SDK?

Have you tried installing beta drivers and latest SDK?

yep, installed 10 minutes ago.

Catalyst beta + latest amd SDK.

If I need to be honest, works worse than before.

Then I have a question for you: Why do you invest in something when you have zero knowledge about it?
That's like buying shares in a company about which you know nothing. Smart.
Good luck anyways.

Why do you think that I got zero knowledge about this?

I just got problem with hash rates. Something is wrong and I dont know what is it, you dont know too because your answer doesnt help me so...?

Maybe someone had similar or like this problem with hash rates, that why I created that topic.

This is contradictory.
If you had enough knowledge you would most likely solve your problems on your own. Talking from experience.

look here --> https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

From what i see should get around 400khs but I'm far from an expert but maybe try this:

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.com -u worker -p pass --no-submit-stale --verbose -I 18 -w 256 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 15000 --gpu-fan 85 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1130 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20

You have to put more effort to find best combination of core/memory. Every card can be different. It may take a wile. Drivers should be ok, cgminer settings is what you need to tune a little more.

My 270x card provides me with 480-490 although it is not from gigabyte.

330 kh/s on this conf

I think that it is not a problem of cgminer configuration, because I tried a lot of this and always hash rate is similar.

Problem is propably somewhere else, but the question is where?  Embarrassed

The problem is actually known: VRAM latency. There's a thread for 280x: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=12369.0

Unfortunately 270's don't seem to be prioritary...

Instead, if this is becoming frustrating, I suggest you mine a non-scrypt coin like: http://max.1gh.com/

Damn, best coins are scrypt.

At least I know what is a problem, but is there any way to fix this?? So why other ppl dont have this problem with 270X?

I'm not sure how much has been changed, but i've got an XFX R9 270x and i'm getting about 391Mh/s compared to what you're getting with Kh/s?

You forgot to enable the --scrypt option

OP:
Download sgminer and use this. I own XFX 270X's and get around 430KH/s each.

Code:
--xintensity 4 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8193 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1450 --expiry 1 --queue 0 --scan-time 1 --gpu-powertune 10
