I guess mailchimp is also doing this, banning/suspends accounts if the content you're sending is related to cryptocurrency or bitcoin coz I used there service before for free for 2000 limited emails to be sent for the newsletter of my site (https://bl4nkcode.info) but when I reached it over, I topup to continue their service then they suspend my account, saying that I break some of their terms about crypto which they never told me, didnt receive any notifications, emails about it when I used them in sending those limited email for free.

But twitter? I have several twitter accounts, also running small business but I can still use it.

Yeah, Twitter seems like doesn't take it too seriously on banning bitcoin content.

Its quite sad that such platforms like mailchimp ban accounts that are related to cryptocurrency  as email marketing is also one of the best ways to advertise products. I know that cryptocurrency is easily scammed by malicious individuals but so as other market and I believe it is not a ground to ban account unless owners of such platforms are againt cryptocurrency. We experienced this with facebook but right now with the rumors that owner Mark Zuckerberg will merge with coinbase it is a great news for crypto enthusiast and fanatics as one of the leading social paltforms are turing in to cryptocurrency and hopefully this platforms too.

How do you guys manage to circumvent twitter from banning your bitcoin content. I have had a hard time posting crypto related content, the worst is opening an account with a crypto related username!

Twitter accepts accounts talking about Bitcoin. They just don't accept any advertising campaigns through their platform on ads.twitter.com. There is a misconception about Twitter and Crypto. As a social network, they won't ban accounts talking about crypto, it would be ridiculous and people will shout out for censorship. Imagine posting a tweet "The different use cases of blockchain technology, the technology behind Bitcoin" then you get banned...It doesn't make sense

I don't know how you do it because I have a crypto related account on Twitter but I don't have any issue that I have even participated in bounties posting contents with several hagtags related to crypto, promoting ICOs through retweeting and all of such. I think you really need to check your activities maybe the ones you participate in are much enough and the frequency of posting is equally short to have attracted what ever bot they coded to suspend all of such accounts. I believe suspension is not banning just ensure you watch it when you are out of the net.

Even though its out-rightly wrong for a service provider to just deny one access without adequate notification morally, but they are covered by their Terms and Conditions which you have accepted before allowed entrance on their platform that they don't owe you any notification to get to the point of deactivating your account should in case you have violated any of their Terms. The best is to move on.

Yes, it's my fault too since I'm also one of the thousands of people who have reading disability concerning the terms and policy when registering in any website.

They should suspend my account in the very first place when I used their service to send emails with cryptocurrency content for their free plan not after I top up my account for sending emails to more than 2k subscribers and to get higher limitations of sending emails monthly. But anyways I already moved on.

Because of many ICO scams, all paid advertisements are now under observation. I am not sure for Bitcoin specifically.

I saw threads posted by OP himself related the so-called ban of crypto/bitcoin-related accounts about ConstantContact and SendInBlue. But upon searching in google, I didn't see any article related to this except for the mailchimp which I mentioned already.

Twitter accepts accounts talking about Bitcoin.

They are most definitely banning Bitcoin-based accounts it seems.  (When they pwn your account, they don't tell you why.)

I saw threads posted by OP himself related the so-called ban of crypto/bitcoin-related accounts about ConstantContact and SendInBlue. But upon searching in google, I didn't see any article related to this except for the mailchimp which I mentioned already.

I spoke with Constant Contact over the phone.  You can call them as well (866) 289-2101.

SendInBlue:

"Hello ____,

Thank you for contacting us about your account, and for taking time to give SendinBlue a try.

Each new account is reviewed by our team before campaigns can be sent out. We do this to ensure new users comply with our terms of service, and are in a position to be successful using SendinBlue. After reviewing your account and the nature of your content, unfortunately we will not be able to validate your account.

We apologize for the inconvenience and want to let you know that this is not a judgement on your business. Rather, we've tried working with similar clients in the past and have found that you will experience unsatisfactory results.

If you have made a purchase, we have cancelled any future renewals and refunded any unused credits. This refund will be processed back to your original form of payment and should appear on your statement within the next 1-2 weeks. However, if you do not see the credit within that timeframe please let us know by responding to this message.

We appreciate that you took the time to try our service and do wish you the best.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
_____
SendinBlue Customer Service
"

For FreeBitcoins.com... maybe it was an us thing and not a crypto thing, BUT in the email they said not a judgement against our business, but the crypto scene.

I imagine a lot of these email services get a bad taste in their mouth due to emails being sold on the dark web and ICO / altcoin fucktards.

In 2017 AOL blocked emails sent to my @aim.com email account from blockchain.info.

It disabled the 2FA email blockchain normally sends to access wallet accounts.

Not certain if that was an action taken against me individually or if AOL blacklisted blockchain.info's entire domain for all email accounts. I think AT&T now owns TimeWarner which owns AOL. Maybe the change in ownership will compel AOL to reverse the ban. Or perhaps the opposite will occur. AT&T is raising DirecTV prices by $5. Perhaps we're seeing the effect market centralization has upon the cost of services, which is to make them more expensive and unaffordable as perhaps we have seen with healthcare in the USA as it has shifted to become a more centralized and monopolistic paradigm.

I think this useful sites are not just ready for a big change in the payment system. It's for marketing stuff so I don't see that those who have businesses in the Crypto industry to encounter this problem because they certainly have fiat money in the first place.

Surprisingly, I didn't know that mailchimp have such view towards bitcoin.
I have a client of mine in which we use MC for our email marketing since 2016. This client's ecommerce site accepts bitcoin, though we've not sent any crypto/bitcoin related emails to our subscriber. After 2 years of service, I think it's safe to think that you will not be banned unless you put a bitcoin content on the email.

Are you serious about Twitter? 😒🤔 Although I haven’t seen any kind of advert about Bitcoin, but I do see some pages that tweets about Bitcoin and they are still up and running without being banned. Unless maybe they started this one newly, maybe due to Facebook did such a thing.

But Facebook has reversed their ban on cryptocurrencies, people can now advertise any form of crypto related business on Facebook now.

Maybe OP is talking about the recent ban/suspend of the @bitcoin twitter handle, but it's not that bitcoin/crypto related account or twitter handle talking about crypto will be banned in twitter.

But Facebook has reversed their ban on cryptocurrencies, people can now advertise any form of crypto related business on Facebook now.
Facebook has a different story here, they don't ban any fb account with crypto-related nor suspend them, ads with investment scheme like some ICOs are the one whos prohibited.

Mailchimp and other email marketing services are always under the control. they must strictly abide by if they want your service to keep alive.

I know several Twitter accounts who are directly offering "Twitter advertisements" to his follower audit, now they are banned.

Did they say why they ban your business account if you are involved in BTC? I dont see an official statement from Twitter or from the other smaller services.

But the ICOs are ok for them?

i think there must be some mistake bitcoin shouldn't be ban but scam ICO's made to steal people's money of course not all ICO are like this but mostly ICO's are scam. I haven't heard anything or some sort of news that a bunch of companies are banning bitcoin. My question is, are these companies affiliated to some government institutions and what do they actually do ?

Not sure if still the case, but certain banks in the UK have been restricting customers from making transactions buying BTC. I'm certain this will lift over time, especially as I know other banks are starting to really invest in Blockchain

i think there must be some mistake bitcoin shouldn't be ban but scam ICO's made to steal people's money of course not all ICO are like this but mostly ICO's are scam. I haven't heard anything or some sort of news that a bunch of companies are banning bitcoin. My question is, are these companies affiliated to some government institutions and what do they actually do ?
Of course they will be huge profits then. And then they will not take any action. To prevent us from having a strong community, we can win.

Facebook tried banning cryptocurrency ads until recently, it's sad that these companies have their own personal reservations about bitcoin or altcoins and that is because of some of the bad eggs: scam. But that does not mean that they can stop the tornado of change cryptocurrency is bringing with it.

They would accept it sooner or later. Crypto is here to stay.

I think this useful sites are not just ready for a big change in the payment system. It's for marketing stuff so I don't see that those who have businesses in the Crypto industry to encounter this problem because they certainly have fiat money in the first place.
It will be difficult to do these things. Because most of the projects are in power. When they have money then they will deal with me. There are few cases of attack. That's only for investors. Will be subject to impersonation of the project owner to take over assets of investors. You should be more careful.

Wow, that's really not cool. I had actually like to know their reasons though. I really do not understand why. Anyone knows why? This kind of limitations make Bitcoin look criminal. I'd really appreciate a link to some official statement or something. But then it doesn't really affect much. I hear Facebook reversed their ban on Bitcoin ads. So, I won't be surprised to see these companies go back on their decision.
