Application For Merit Source [Philippines Local Board]

Hi I’m crwth. I’m applying to become a merit source. The merit distribution in the local board Philippines are not that big and I want to help by focusing most of the merit to be distributed on our local board, Philippines, to help my countrymen and improve the quality of posts with merit.

Here are 10 posts who haven’t received enough merit and I will be summarizing the whole meaning since most of the posts are in Tagalog. I will also be giving my reasons why I chose those 10 topics.

I'm very thankful that you consider my content.

It's true that we filipinos need a merit source since many people in my local makes amazing contents that is very informative but doesn't have any merits. I hope Mr. crwth will become a merit source and supports our local section soon. I'm having positive thoughts that he will do his job and will make our local section very lively again with great contents. Goodluck!

Only the higher ups give merits to the good posts so it's really hard to gain even you put some full effort on things. So again, Goodluck to you Mr. crwth, I really support you for being a merit source in our local!

I'm so glad that finally, someone here from Philippines is applying as a Merit Source. Just few things buddy, your application might get accepted but are you sure that you can take full responsibility as a Merit Source? Our local board really need Merits source but, it will be seriously difficult.

But don't worry, you have some spirit. That's why I will support your application. When you become a Merit Source, maybe you should quit posting in Megathreads

Being a Merit Source is not only about distributing merits, it's also to be an inspiration to everyone by making good things, and this "good things" should start with you. By the way, Goodluck buddy. I'm willing to support you. You will be the first Merits source from the history of Philippines in Bitcointalk

Well, I’m hoping to get accepted also. I would be gladly to take responsibility of becoming a merit source, especially for our local board to help the people who deserves merit. When I become a merit source (hopefully) I would try my best to grant merit to someone really deserving. Thanks for supporting.

I think Dabs and rickbig are merit sources, I have read it in a topic somewhere. Additional merit source would be helpful too.

You have shared to all of us useful knowledge especially to those newbies that are still trying to familiarize themselves here, more specifically to our fellow Filipinos. It will be great if we have a merit source in our local because the number of Filipinos involved in this forum is exponentially increasing already. The fast pace needs some guidance and credits as well, especially to those who are selflessly sharing what they know.

You deserve it, mate, I have read your quality posts and (IMO) considered an established member. I do agree with your 10-quality post on our local board, I have noticed that ever since young became active, there are changes happening on our local board, which is good. He/She is educating people there, even, I, felt the challenge to see how a newbie can post helpful threads if, he/she can do it, why won’t we?
It is going to be a start of a new beautiful beginning on our local board. You have our support mate.

Good luck on becoming a merit source in your local sections. PH Local boards are active and they need sources. After all the entire forum is in dearth of merit sources in my opinion.

WOW ! This is awfully nice post. But anyways, thank you for featuring my post "why merits are being dried up". I am also not aware that I am motivating someone else to become a merit source in our local. Well, Im glad that I am helping other people to make such decisions like applying as a merit source.

If there are more merit sources in our local, I am sure many will follow of becoming a good poster. If you gets accepted, help rickbig and dabs in their task in the forum.

Well, it's a start, small steps lead to great things. That's my view, and there could be opportunities to grow as a member here as long as you know what to do, and with the ten local posts that I have chosen, I know it would help them to understand how the forum works.

I also think that we do, especially in the local section. As long as quality posts are done and especially not the redundant ones because I noticed that some are always repeating.

Honestly, I have been hoping that there would be more sMerit sources in the Philippine local board. I know that many Filipinos have a hard time speaking/posting in English and this deprives them of the chance of gaining merits. If you take a look at the merit distribution stats, there are many merits that come from the other local boards but I think the Philippines board is being left behind.

These infographics are definitely meritorious and I believe these would help our fellow Filipino citizens who have a hard time with english. This would help them understand more about the btctalk forum, know more about crypto and be knowledgeable of the red flags of a scam.

But don't forget your responsibilty of a merit source if you'll get accepted, even though we Filipinos really needs the merits you should be fair, considerable and not be a biased it should be for everyone in every sections of the forum It should be given to those who deserves it.

I do hope so too, and it would help improve the quality and more members to be active in the forum, especially on our local board. I don't think it would be hard for Filipinos to learn the right grammar with writing as long as they practice. It's also helpful to use Grammarly if you are familiar with that. Part of the quality of the post is the right grammar and the right way to write. It's not just full of graphics and full of text. It should make sense and nonredundant. I think the Filipino people are capable of making quality posts. A lot of them are highlighted here in my ten posts.

This proves that we Filipino are really active in this forum. If you guys (from different country) will only visit our local board you will be able to find out that there are lot of quality posts and active discussions out there that deserves a lot of merits as well, but lacking of sources. This Merit Source applicant from Philippines have good intentions that's why I hope Admin won't hesitate to accept our applicant's application.
We may have Dabs and rickbig41 as merits source but they're also pretty busy at moderating that's why we understand their infrequent presence of distributing Merits. I'm sure that even our moderator will support our applicant.

We will be waiting for update Admins.

Gender, age and the amount of Negative Trust points matched that's why I can assure that it was you. But don't worry digaran, Im sure that finaleshot2016 has no bad intentions for doing such things, he just included it for example. I wonder why finaleshot2016 didn't use Quickseller's negative trust points since he/she has more points than you (no offence Sir/Ma'am).

Thank you for bringing this up. I'm fully aware of the requirements that theymos has included and all I did was merit those replies that are really good and made me feel more motivated. I don't regret to merit because for me it was an appreciation, that's why it was only one (1). There are a lot of posts that have received one merit and it just means it increased the value of the thread. I'm not going to merit every reply because some are just repeating what everyone said. I know the responsibility of becoming a merit source. It's a good practice to appreciate someone that has given a value more of the application. That is just my thoughts about it.

His capacity is still a forum member and he contains the prerogative on who to merit based on his knowledge, understanding, and liking. Should he be promoted to become a sMerit Source, then this will validate the sources that he provided that should be merited under the Philippines Local Board.
Assuming that his intentions are purely good, then this will contribute to the Local Board as many Filipinos suffer the fluency of speaking in English. Hopefully, this deficiency would not hinder them from making quality and meaningful topics under the Board which promotes and builds for the betterment of the forum.
