As a natural deal in the market, sellers always want to sell high and buyers always want to buy low. But the reverse seem the case with those sellers who dump their Crypto coin or tokens for some very low and ridiculous price. Thus that's not a natural market deal. What really is the reason why people dump? Have they got enough crypto gains that they need no profits no more?
You have said it so i knew that you have an idea. Take on that situation and put yourself what do you think you'll going to do if it happens to you. You will about to do the same of having no knowledge, it is claimed that you can buy in cheap but not always it goes with you there is dumping of price and can cause collapse or panic.

I am profit minded and more importantly, I am conscious of project type. There are projects I invest in and will hold long term..  As long as. There are projects I buy for immediate trading.... But won't sell so dumb to sell low. Not when it already sound sick to me.

Of course people want their money that they invested in. And I think it is the right thing to do since majority of the coins dumps after it hits any exchanges.

Are you for real? It is the right thing to do? Dump my precious tokens because it just hit the exchange? I beg to disagree. Maybe I am not understanding.

There is no particular answers for your question because people sell their cryptos is not simply because they need money. There are a lot of factors why people are selling their crypto. Depends on their condition anyway. Someone sells his crypto can be because of fear, panic selling, speculating, and others. For example, I usually sell my crypto because I want to speculate. I sell coin X because coin Y was rumored to be bullish.

People just sell all tokens/coins  so they can buy more BTC.

Then they sell BTC to buy more Altcoins.

Then they sell Altcoins again, to get more BTC.

This is only usecase for crypto at the moment.... sadly   Undecided

------------------------------------------------------------
I agree that most of this coins/tokens will loose their value,
but only few of them will increase huge.
Don't trust me...just look at statistics.

There may be several reasons behind such contemptuous act of
dumping of coins when people do not care for losses.
Sometimes you need money and couldn't seek any other way than selling your precious coins or ayou might not be a real trader

I think many people who sell their coins with low price after ICO is their need for cash, they need cash money in hurry so the coins earned by them as fast as possible to be converted into their cash money. They will not concern of the price anymore, just CASH MINDED.
yes I agree with what you say, because everyone's needs are different so they do not think how much the token price they have, most importantly they make money.

Oh! I see. You sell off coin X and buy more of coin Y that you eventually dump and buy coin Z... And later buy coin XYZ omg! Sounds interesting though. Do you trade Crypto full time?

Like in the case of airdrop tokens and giveaways? But gifts should even be more precious. Don't sell cheap mate.

There are definitely lots of emotional traders in the market. Since pretty much almost anyone can invest in cryptocurrencies, even the people who don't have an idea on what they're doing are joining in. Their coin/token loses 50%? "oh my god it's crashing to the ground!". Boom. SELL. I'm not going to pretend that I didn't do this in the past though. I've definitely learned the hard way.

It is good you learned faster. Lolz. These sicking emotions of some people to sell low need to be redressed. This guys are missing fortune in the immediate. That's how people sold bitcoin for pizza.

After being in the cryptocurrency world for 2 years, you simply just get numb even though your investment crashes as low as 80%. Huge drops in investments is just a normal day for me now.

I see. But of course, you may have made a fortune and have multiple portfolios by now. #smiles.

I think that the main reason people sell is fear. They are afraid that right now the entire crypto market has been blown away and therefore they are selling all their coins. Just to take at least some money. There are very few professionals in the crypto currency market, most are ordinary people who do not understand anything at all in trading. No wonder they are called hamsters. It's just a crowd of people who buy when the price rises (enthusiasm and blind faith) and sells when the price falls (fear and insecurity). So they do not follow the basic rules of successful trading.

If you have no plans of holding I guess dumping would be easy especially if you have invested to an ICO with great amount of bonus. If they believe to the project they will buy back but for those who have dumped and find out the project did well after, regrets will also be with them. This probably had happened most of the time to the bounty hunters who just sell for BTC.

exactly they may just look to be that they just want to have some money even in a low price than taking it for so long to grow it more cause they think that it is just a waste of time and they think also that if they take this for so long they may take for nothing.

Because some people don't value things they get for free. But then, most shit coins end up dead after hitting the exchanges, so, it's better to sell early (sometimes)  Grin

Oh my! Really? Buy when price rising and sell when price is dropping. Then they have the money to throw around. If they have $40 worth of btc only. They would learn to kill fear and be patient till their initially investment make some more profit for them.

This is exactly why I want to avoid the negative regret. It will be more painful to me if I dump a coin and discover that it later skyrocketed to 5x or 10x than hold and it later dump. I will hold and watch the market.

This is another issue. How do we really know shitcoin if we do not wait a few weeks to have the team proof their effort?

FUD of course is the main reason why  people sell their coins at a lower price. The fear of traders becoming a bagholder will cause them to dispose their coins at a lower price than what they bought them for.
