I don't think it will happen as cryptocurrency is already an emerging type of currency that is now being adopted by many people globally. Considering that  there are people rejecting cryptocurrency, I believe that these are the people that had participated in the crypto market but were not able to succeed with their investment venture.

This thing came up to my mind suddenly. As I know a currency is a transaction medium that majority of the people agree to use to exchange their items with them. If it is the case, if majority refused to use crypto currencies, what will be the consequences may occur ? And how it will affect to the ICOs ? Any Ideas?

Though some countries rejected it but I can not imagine if the society will reject to use it. I think many people are believe and trust cryptocurrency even though it is decentralized. However, if society refused to use cryptocurrency then it can affect the whole crypto world because that society is the target of crypto to believe to their skills. Hopefuly, they will not refused it because it can be a big help for them when it comes to financial needs.

The ico is still on going. That is the purpose of making ico's, to educate the uneducated. Its purpose is clear to give the community a tool for a new innovated currency, but it is not easy, considering that most people really don't care. But surely soon, by the time comes, it would change to mass adoption.

why would the majority refuse to use crypto currencies?? people just need to be informed and some regulations must be in place to make everything safer, but why would anyone want to keep payment crazy fess and hideen taxes to banks? why would someone want to be subjected to government control of your finances?? or even to crazy taxes that only the rich can escape??
besides all this, everyone owns a smartphone, smartcar, smart tv.... smart money will just fit...
In time I just see no way for society to reject crypto...

up to now there is still plenty of rejection will happen but can instead be crypto said crypto is still evolving. I think it will remain there despite the refusal of support too much. of course, it will have an effect on the value of the crypto also be getting down and the circumstances of the ICO that exist because of course later communities who will feel the impact.

I believe that we have passed the border of no return and it is already clear that cryptocurrencies will only continue to develop and the number of people who use cryptocurrencies will grow. ICO projects need to reconsider their structure and change the approach to ICO, because their popularity fell not because of falling interest in crypto, but because many weak projects appeared, many frauds and investors are afraid to invest without any guarantees. I think that next year we will see more positive news related to crypto and the issue of accepting cryptocurrencies will go to the background, because it will be clear to everyone that cryptocurrencies have come to stay.

The fact is that people have already accepted cryptocurrencies and successfully use them, while there are people who have not even heard anything about them. There were always those people who accepted something new and those who rejected it. Even now there are people who negatively relate to the Internet and refuse to use it, despite the fact that the whole world is connected to the Internet, all communication takes place through the Internet, payments are made, purchases are made. The same thing is happening now with cryptocurrencies.

i think the argument is hypothetical where in we are in the mass adoption now where countries are regulating and adopting blockhain technology now. it is the other way out.

I don't think so it could be happen in the future. Because slowly slowly many countries start researching about cryptocurrency and trying to find out how to regulate cryptocurrency. I know it's take time to come on the decision but no matter. Adoption of cryptocurrency is day by day going to bigger and bigger. Also so many multinational companies and brand maker, product maker also Start accepting cryptocurrency as a payment. So their are so many positive things coming each day in crypto world. So I don't think so society could stop it..

If majority refuse to use cryptocurrency, then crypto prices will not rise much.  But this refusal will just defer the acceptance of crypto.  The day will come where all people will eventually use crypto whether they like it or not.

I don’t think that society will refuse to use cryptocurrency. Some people may persistently ignore them, but sooner or later they will be in the minority, as is happening now with those who refuse to receive identification numbers or don’t use mobile phones.

The cryptocurrency market demand will drop, same goes with the price. However, society as we know it, people always want to earn money and cryptocurrency is one of the best way to earn it. The only thing that will make the society ignore or reject crypto is when it is totally useless or if it becomes illegal.

Any form of system or medium will not be effective if the whole community will reject it. It is the acceptance of the community that will cryptocurrency even successful. With the current venture of many legitimate companies into crytocurrency. It is a great indicator that cryptocurreny will have a huge impact in our society.

I think that the major utility of the tokens or coins in the cryptocurrency are not for transaction only. They are valuable enough for the investment. And when the society reject the use of cryptocurrency, so it means that the crypto is worthless. We can see that the coins may be dying after all.

If suddenly people come to mind to abandon the cryptocurrency, the consequences will be catastrophic, so they go quickly to get rid of it and collapse the course. The credibility of the ICO, too .Udet lost. Although ask yourself whether there will be such a turn of events, because cryptocurrency and blockchain technology gives many advantages.

If people would refuse using cryptos, ofcourse it would be a huge disadvantage and would further negatively affect the cryptos. Icos would more often fail if such thing would happen which is more possible nowadays because of the downtrend that we are  currently experiencing which would might push other people away from cryptos.

isn't this just in time is still the thing that the majority of people haven't even figured out and rejected the existence of crypto. in the time that it would be interested in crypto is still a minority and even in different countries still, consider it illegal. But even though the majority still do not want to accept crypto slowly but still continue to grow because despite little interest but they seriously run the crypto field.

Of course, this will affect the ICO projects - they will simply cease to exist. After all, if people refuse to cryptocurrency then it will not be necessary to create new tokens. And of course, first of all people will suffer. Those who invested in crypto. The currency will depreciate because demand will disappear, and investors will be left with nothing. Those people who had bounty campaign as their main job they simply will become unemployed.
