If the society rejected to use crypto currencies?

This thing came up to my mind suddenly. As I know a currency is a transaction medium that majority of the people agree to use to exchange their items with them. If it is the case, if majority refused to use crypto currencies, what will be the consequences may occur ?

I think that nothing critical will happen, most likely because of the lack of demand for the crypto currency, the price for it will greatly decrease.

And how it will affect to the ICOs ?

If cryptocurrencies will not be in demand, then ICO projects will be very difficult to raise money, since there will be no hamsters on the market.

The society have not embraced cryptocurrency yet and cryptocurrency market cap is in billions of dollars.  I think cryptocurrency transcend any Immediate society to  a global community.  Cryptocurrency is a new technology that is expanding and developing!

Maybe bitcoin could be legal but not for transaction, many people still do not know about how to use bitcoin and make bitcoin as transaction payment, need more time to tech them know about bitcoin.

The issue of acceptance of cryptocurrency is quite belated,there had been massive global adoption of cryptocurrency recently,many countries of the world have accepted to use cryptocurrency in their economies,it's only a few persons that have not got the awareness,more ICOs will come up with useful project concepts.

This is not possible, the society may not understand the technology, if you show how to use it, the blockchain supporters will be much more than it is.

But, we need to consider the current state of crypto currencies among many society. Most of the socities are all not ready to understand and accept this new technology. But over the time, definitely they will understand the need of having blockchain technology for their day-to-day life at the time they will start accepting all crypto based currencies too.
