I do not understand why you see holders in such a negative light, it seems that you are forgetting that bitcoin is an investment and if they are holding their coins that is because they are expecting that they will get some profit out of that behaviour, you cannot really expect that they keep their coins forever and that they do not use them while they have some needs, it is obvious that at some point those people are going to sell their coins but that is fine because when that happens that will probably mean that there are a lot more people adopting bitcoin and they will be willing to buy those coins.
