my box is currently in the living in a case while i test it so temps are a little high.

i undervolted the bios to 1.1v and i use the setting below.

"xintensity" : "4",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"worksize" : "256",
"gpu-engine" : "1060",
"thread-concurrency" : "5121",
"gpu-fan" : "0-90",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"temp-cutoff" : "90",
"temp-overheat" : "80",
"temp-target" : "75",
"auto-fan" : true,
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-platform" : "0",
"monitor" : "cat >> /home/cgminer.log",
"kernel" : "alexkarnew",
"kernel-path" : "/opt/miners/sgminer/kernel"

credit goes to http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/1wc5th/bounty_undervolting_gigabyte_r9_270_bios/cf0y97g for the idea.. i just weaked it a litle for my own use.

these settings are great.  doesn't strain the card & I can't run at 1500 mem w/o it crashing every once in a while anyway.

I changed it to 1080-1200 and they are running at 475khash

(and even if I could run it at 1120-1500 or whatever, the power savings from being able to drop voltage a bit is probably worth it)

core 1175
meme 1500

cgminer version 3.7.3
config file info this is on one of my R9 270X

I can get as high as 1175 engine, but I have to keep temps below 70C. See my pic above, same as yours, about 505 kh/s.

to keep your temps low you should look at either the way the airflow is in your case and if you can not improve that i would suggest using a inclosed liquid cooling system to achieve lower temps ill post a pic of the inside of my case later for you to see

I have a 270 (non - x) and I tried wipeout's config and got around 500khs.
I have one gigabyte card and two msi 270's.
Now that I got the gigabyte maxed out I need to try and do the same with the MSI cards.

3x Gigabyte R9 270 GV-R927OC-2GD
VRM chip: IR3567A - Elpida DIMMs
ATi 14.4 beta drivers

Cgminer 3.7.2 + Kalroth fixes (3.7.3 is what people call this I guess) or SGminer 4.1
Xubuntu linux 13.10

"xintensity" : "4",
"failover-only" : true,

"gpu-powertune" : "5",
"scan-time" : "1",
"kernel" : "scrypt", (or alexkarnew in sgminer)
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
}

Modded bios voltage is now 1.19 perf + 1025 boost
Temps are ~60C in the midwest in April

KH/S: ~450
WUE: ~94%

<1% Rejects

total system power draw ~430w

You may need to play with thread-concurrancy (either 5121 8193 or 10241) to get the WU/WUE above 89%.

I'm using sgminer 4.1.153 with these settings and I'm over 500 khs. WU is just over 450.  Rejects less than 1%.

I'm finding a hard time getting above 1060 stable. Is this to be expected?
Under 13.3 Beta on ubuntu 14.04. With an Asus R9 270 I get up to ~460 KH/s and even this seams to be only stable for a day.

I'm running a Sapphire R9 270X Toxic - had been running with gpu threads = 1 and thread concurrency 21536, but I see much better speeds with -g 2 and -threads 8193

Suspect it may be something to do with having 4GB RAM and I'm suspicious that its not 100% reliable which isnt helping my fine tuning, but someone may know better

I'm running 4 x GB R9 270x over two machines as I like to try different settings on each to see which is stable and so far BAMT 1.6 appears to be the one for me. Tried 1.6.2 but kept crashing. Currently getting 489KH/s per card with the following settings. Can't profess to know what all the settings mean but I have tinkered with intensity, worksize and tc. Should be moving to an open air rig shortly to get all 4 on the same setup.

You should be able to get over 500 khs with the 270x. I'm close to 525 with my non-x. I don't know if the settings between the x and non-x work the same or not, but you can view my settings above.
