It is very hard to beat mainstream coin for any altcoins. Atleast at this moment. Cause if you take Bitcoin. Bitcoin has more than half market of full crypto currency ecosystem. It is the core of the whole market. So it is very hard for a altcoin to touch this market cap. At this moment there is many coin like Bitcoin which is better on technology with same use cases of Bitcoin but they can't take the place cause people trust Bitcoin or top standard coin more than any Alts. Maybe in near future some alt replace Bitcoin or ethereum or xrp up that will take much more time than we thought.

There are still alot of people who don’t know what bitcoin or ethereum is. To be honest, i just don’t understand why we should look for a new king so soon? It seems like bitcoin will remain as the strongest currency in this market.

Bitcoin has been a leader for 10 years, and not one coin has been able to move yet , and I doubt that in 3 years the coin can fall, as the whole market holds on bitcoin |

I also think why people are so actively looking for a replacement for bitcoin than it is so bad? He copes with his task as a leader and everyone in the world associates cryptocurrency with bitcoin |

BTC will remain the king, because all of the crypto investors are holding this coin and it does not seem that some big players are switching to Ethereum or Ripple. BTC will still be the number one coin on CMC for a long time.

if changing Bitcoin is very difficult but in my opinion ETH is very likely to be replaced by other coins because there are a lot of Altcoin which in my opinion have great potential to be like or exceed ETH for example I NEO has better technology than ETH and no longer has a bad team ETH. |
