Does seeding or downloading torrents affect mining speed in anyway whatsoever?

Ok, so Im a little confused? So If I was at 99% of either my upload OR download limits, I would still be fine then.
Basically don't lock out it out 100% otherwise I cant submit/receive.

do traffic shaping on your router or in your firewall. Prioritize the bitcoin traffic.

just limit your torrent client to some KBs below the limit of your connection so some room is left for the miner to communicate with the pool.
otherwise your stall rate might go up

I have 12Mbit/s at my home, streaming movies and tv shows from apple tv at 720p, downloading bunch of shit on my macbook, on my iphones and right now I am uploading entire photo stream from my iphone to Mega and it doesn't have any impact on my mining hashrate. oh yea, I'm also here posting this.
but if you really wanna be on safe side than limit your upload speed.

I actually prefer not to on any torrents, they tends to use up 100% of the connection after a while.. Your ping would sky-rocket..
