Is this a new feature of the forum? I've just noticed this little icon (in the picture below)
and your post will show up like this

I think it's a Quick Edit of your post. I don't know if this is already been here for days, month or years but I only noticed it today. If you guys don't know it yet, just go to one of your post and you will find it in the right side of it. I searched about "quick reply" of this forum but I cannot find any discussions about it that's why maybe this is new.
If you already knew it and it's already here for a long time (since the beginning), shame on me for bringing this up.

Just sharing and I just wanted to ask if this is new. I will lock this thread immediately once my curiosity is been answered.

I noticed it few weeks ago (two weeks I guess), it seemed new to me then again I thought it was there from the beginning. I really was confuse, now looking at your post it seems this is indeed a new one. It's quite handy though. You do not need the entire page to be refreshed.

Yes, it's a quick edit.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

It's called modify inline and yeah, basically it's a quick edit since it allows you to edit your post while browsing the page, without necessarily needing the page to be cloned.

Its more convenient in editing a post. I didn't notice this one. Can all of our replies will be in this format? IMO, it will be more faster if you want to quote a reply which at the top of the page.

Edit:
Is it just my page or something? Do I really need to scroll down before I can save my edit. It is not like what OP' screen shot.

Edit:
Upon editing again my reply, my page are already the same with OP. I think its a little bug.

Yet, I never noticed that thing until today, but thank you for noticing me. Quick Edit is very useful for a post which has no element or bbcode, while normally the standart "Edit" is more useful that has so many feature to add bbcode with a single click.
Better to add a title when your pointer heading to Quick Edit icon. @theymos

OP, I noticed quick edit months ago, not sure when was the first time I used it but it was after when merit system was implemented. But I stopped using it, I don't remember the reason why.

Normally, if given a choice to do something and nothing, I choose to do nothing.
But I will do something if it helps someone else to do nothing.
I'd work all night if it meant nothing got done.

This. I use this a lot and it is definitely NOT a new feature. I am shocked that people just came to know about this. But nonetheless, now that your curiosity is solved, you know what to do. Wink
