The parameters are close to the one used by vercoin; these parameters will work fine with  300MH/s or more...

1 Hour is close to 24 Hours, yes i get that.

You also try to convince me the whole time of your settings which are not proven to work right now. I never did this to you, did i?
So leave it to the People to decide which one they want.

I've setup myself new p2pool parameters for some altcoins. The patch parameters are good. We just need a lot of MH/s, and patience. That's all.

Cloudapp Servers are not down. You just cant ping them because icmp is diabled. Just connect your miner, get in the Frontend and check your stale rate. If its higher than Thema pool hashrate you have to search for another one :-(. In not : hoooray

More MH/s for a p2pool is always better. But reliability is important too, and I've used the p2pool-vtc for days, this repository is well maintained. And the patch is OK, so...

For real  Huh

If you compare the VTC Git to your patch you will see that you have changed way more parameters than necessary to get this to work with PANDA.

So dont bullshit me here. Your settings are in a very drastically way altered from original VTC settings.
So nothing is proven to work here!!!

I'm not the author of this patch, but the only parameters updated more than required are these:
+        CHAIN_LENGTH=1*60*60//10, # shares
+        REAL_CHAIN_LENGTH=1*60*60//10, # shares

These are related to a faster payout ratio convergence. And I prefer that way.... Now the MH/s give a Share difficulty of 0.000748. Even a low hashrate miner will get the expected reward, and very quickly, this will work for hundred of MH/s too, so this is right way...

How do I install SDK over SSH?  Links aren't working right help!!  I want to get this going

 Install the APP SDK
Next, you'll need AMD's APP SDK:
http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/heterogeneous-computing/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/downloads/

Right now your Network is finding Blocks approximately every 2 Hours. Have fun with that settings.
And what is diff raises further and u find even fewer Blocks.

The People over at Vertcoin had tested these settings a long time before going live. PANDA is a clone of it so the proven to work settings are more trustworthy imho.

Also i didnt get the point why u want this to be 1 Hour? You jumping Pools a lot? Only mining part time?
I personally like to get a steady stream of coins even if my rigs are offline for an hour.

Also this Address Pcm7RfFLY59AVyDazwP1iiG5JhLUwF7Y1P is mining to the node wallet. (dont do this on a server that exposed...)
But because of this i cant even check if your displayed fee is correct.

Hey guys. I recommend moving to pandapool.org. I messed around with dedicated for 2 days and got not even half what i should have, even less on unitedminers. getting nice fat consistent payouts now. move your rigs if your tired of getting hosed.

Not sure what you mean - have you any numbers to support this?
Hashrate, expected payout vs. actual payout, that kind of thing?

EDIT: Oh wait - you're from PND. Welcome to my ignore list.

yeah sure. expected payout at dedicated 50000, what i got 5000. expected payout unitedminers 20000 what i got 900. i dont care what you do, all i know is there was a lot of missing coins and various other shit from those two pools and i lost alot of coins as a result. maybe you think it's funny but there are other people on this thread with the same problem, i'm just letting them know i checked it out and pandapool.org seems to be right on with what your supposed to get and what you walk away with.

why does that not make sense again? it's math dude if you don't get even close to what your supposed to from a pool something ain't right. had the same problem with dedicated mining doges, figured i would give them another shot. same shit, not even 1/3 of what i should get. you guys do what you want, just seems stupid to waste your khs.

I have made more in the last 6 hours on pandapool.org (not .net, haven't tried them yet) then in 2 days on dedicated pool. the FIRST 2 days that should have been monster payouts. They are both prop. pools, same khash, same settings, everything. this should not vary this much. There is something wrong with that pool. I don't know if it's intentional or HW problem or what but i have given them a few chances with the same results. I'm not even going to count the meager 900 coins in 24 hours from unitedminers. again tried a different (PPLNS) pool and got right close to what i should instead of 1/10 from that other pool.
