Imagine one day, we see Satoshi connect to the forum and open a topic to say Hello I'm back. And that he gives us irrefutable proof that it is him. What would happen?

Would satoshi go to work for Blockstream?
Would Roger Ver start crying like a child and return to his cave?
All the media will talk about it and so with the snowball effect, the Bitcoin would go not to the moon but to another galaxy?
Do you think he will continue the Bitcoin project, or lets others taking care of it?

I hope he'll at least give me a bitcoin t-shirt with his autograph, I'll put it next to Messi's.
He will get 1 Merit point from me, I swear

It would be funny news and I certainly laughed very much.
Humor is always better than unilateralism and discord.
P.S. I would write - Hi Satoshi, are you back? disappear again, please!

It would be an honor to see him back, we don't know maybe he is still around observing this forum right? Or that he is making ready to invent more cryptocurrency for us, it is really a great honor that we have someone just like Satoshi who invest time here.

I guess we would see a bunch of BTC bloggers and vloggers heads explode.

Then there would be the battle of FUD and MOON discussions. The worse part about it is, no matter what Satoshi says in this hypothetical the NEWS machines would trun out there own narrative, because News has become more of an opinion piece than anything. I imagine it would go something like " Satoshi says he just wanted to check back in with the community and engage in the debate, but we here at chanel 496 belive BTC is dying and he is trying to dump his coins to save his fortune... Take it away Bob"

Takes of Negative hat.

As for the forum I think if that day came, he would be interested in some technical discussions and talking to some of the members here who delve into the behind the scenes stuff. Maybe even have a chat about some of the old days with any of the members who can remember back then.

Your questions are impossible to answer without any additional assumptions - if he will just say something generic like "Hi, I'm back", then we don't know what will he say regarding the current Bitcoin protocol, developers, community, rival forks, etc. What I think is most likely happen immediately is the market panic, BTC will probably drop 2-5% percent as speculators will be scared that the biggest rumored whale might sell his coins. If Satoshi will be positive regarding Bitcoin, it might experience a small boost, if he will be critical, the price will somewhat drop, but I'm sure it won't crash too much, as a lot of people now have their own opinions regarding cryptocurrency protocols. If Satoshi would stand against Bcash, it will crash to the ground, because it is based on the premise that its the "original Satoshi's vision" and that Craig Wright is Satoshi.

Do you know that Satoshi was actually a member of this forum? Please check the below account and check his posts as well.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3

I don't expect him to come back online again because if it happens, the enforcement agencies will try to track him down for innovating the most important technology of this decade. Let him live in peace.

I don't think it would be good. I think a lot of people would freak out, because Satoshi holds a lot of coins and if those coins started moving again, even the idea that they could would cause a lot of panic.

If Satoshi really came back, I think Satoshi would not know that he is the most famous and successful in the world. "Satoshi turn around" will be great news for Bitcoin

As far as I know, Satoshi Nakamoto is just a name, not a human. Many articles say Satoshi Nakamoto is an organization and many people are involved in creating Bitcoin

I agree with your opinion. It is possible that Satoshi is a whale and Satoshi that can cause market prices to rise or fall as Satoshi wishes. I think this hypothesis is true

Do you think Satoshi owns a lot of Bitcoin? I think Satoshi will not appear because if they (the group) seems to threaten.
If I were Satoshi, I would not appear if I wanted to live on. They will not see the stupid appearance.

Imagine one day, we see Satoshi connect to the forum and open a topic to say Hello I'm back.

speaking in satoshi, you saw this:

July 4, 2018:

Is Satoshi Nakamoto Writing a Book, or Is It Just Another Publicity Stunt?

apparently has someone who claims to be satoshi and will launch your book, you can see more information about it here:

Nakamoto Family Foundation

This will be the topic of conversation in the next days.

I think this can not happen. Or if this happens, I'm sure that someone who claims to be Satoshi is a scammer. Everyone knows that Satoshi will never come back

It's a big honor for us if he back now. Maybe he study now on what happened on bitcoin and thinking the best solution to solve the problem in bitcoin. I will thank him if I met personally for giving me this kind of opportunity.

Yep, instant market reaction would be uncertainty about what Satoshi's reasons for coming back might be, including whether he intends to sell some coins or carry on developing etc.

But let's not forget: Satoshi wasn't infallible, he made many early mistakes which early Bitcoin devs discovered. His opinions are to be respected, but that doesn't mean he won't get things wrong.

Also, I would speculate that if Satoshi ever returns, it will not be until when Bitcoin is either totally changing the world or until after that change has finished. And that's assuming a return; if you asked me to bet, I would bet on Satoshi never returning, anonymous forever

Surely that was the day when everyone knew the true face of Satoshi. Surely Satoshi will be the most mentioned name on television and newspapers
