What is FortEx?

Forteras FortEx is a High-Scale Software, developed using solid technologies. It's completely WebSocket-based and is presented as SPA, which means that your users will not have to load every page they want to go - all pages are loaded at once and the navigation is done through them seamlessly in real time.

The frontend is responsive (runs perfectly on mobile devices) and completely static. This means you can host it anywhere, even in GitHub Pages or an Amazon S3 bucket. We also offer a Jekyll-based landing page and developers documentation, where programmers can learn how to integrate their services with your Forteras FortEx-powered exchange, through a REST or WebSocket API. Also, it gives users the ability to develop trading algorithms through an official Javascript SDK. Since the algorithms run sandboxed on the user's side, it's also totally safe.

It brings two interface options for users: the advanced one, with charts, active orders, offerbook and everything a trader would need to work in only one screen (without scrolling), and the basic one, for trading newbies, that makes it easy to buy and sell cryptoassets.

The backend is developed using NodeJS and is Heroku-ready (Heroku's multiple dynos scheme will not break your site and will grant your users a Higher Uptime than Competitors').

Several security measures are taken, such as:

One-time password (2-Factor authentication) for users and administrators through email or Google Authenticator/Authy (or any other TOTP app)
Active sessions control,
Browser fingerprint checking
Antifraud Bot: a rules-based smart bot that prevents frauds and leaks.

The platform also packs a full-featured privilege-based administration panel, where your staff can manage users, set levels, groups, custom rates and limits, manage withdrawals and deposits of fiat and cryptoassets (the latter is completely automatic, but we recommend a hot/cold wallets policy). Also, cryptoassets' wallets never change among users (unless users click to do so), so they can always use the same addresses to receive payments through your FortEx Software-Powered Exchange.
