I am just wondering what will happen to the cryptocurrency market if there will be no bull run that can happen before the end of this year as what many have been expecting? Can we then anticipate a much lower market volume or will there be instead a big rebound like a market revenge? Or should we start watering down our expectations as soon as possible?  I have been thinking of the possible scenarios because I can sense that many cryptocurrency players and holders are really looking forward for a bull run or a bullish market soon...what do you think?

If the bulls don't come back in 2018, I just wait and think about the next possibilities and opportunities. If you take a look the summary of 2018, you can understand that january was great for the crypto users. Don't stop to believe, there are many good coins which can achieve great things.

Bull run last year was caused by new investors in Crytocurrency. They are also the reason why all of a sudden the price of BTC dropped and we're not able to recover back to to $18,000 plus. I guess they are scared of losing money in Cryptos that's why they decided to go back to trading stocks and dump their coins. Usually on the 4th quarter of the year price of BTC goes up. But we don't know if this year will be an exception.

Yes, 2017 is exceptional its bullish from January 2017 up to December. I just hope that from 2013 to 2014 will not happen again this year.

Didn't it already happen? You see it drop from $20K to $5K kinda history repeating over and over but bullrun may really happen it may not happen this 2018 but probably in the next years to come and you will have to wait for it. You don't have any choice at all unless you can go and dump all you have right now and find a better market.

Nope, I don't have any plan to dump my coins, right now I'm trying to accumulate more every day thru trading and wait for the bull run for a good profit.

Yap, you're right it's my speculation only that there's no bull run this 2018 like what happened last 2013 to 2014. But looking the history of bitcoin its price go up every last quarter of the year.

We can't say yet until the year ends. According to different news going online, the bull market will be faster than we think. Am very sure that what happened last year will be experienced in the fourth quarter of the year again. So never say never.

In this state of bitcoin and altcoin market it always depending on bitcoins, there is a slight recoveries that happens or called mini bull run. I don't see that 2018 is a whole bearish. Its to early to say no bull run, bitcoin movement and this range hopefully continues.

There is a chance that we will not see a bullish trend in 2018. I think that bitcoin will fluctuate in a range 5000-15000 dollars but will not update the all time high. We will see a real and strong growth only in 2019.

Slight recovery cant really be considered to be called as a mini bull run. When we do talk about bull run its an upward movement either on gradual basis and the thing we do only see is just a small increase and suddenly decrease its price in a shorter time frame which i do rather treat it as a sideways movement or a total accumulation zone as of these days. We cant still ensure if we would able to experience bull run on this year because it would be entirely depending on the market players and adoption.

Yep, bull run usually runs in the Q3-Q4. I'm still waiting for the next bull run on October.
History speaks itself. We see that in the last year Bitcoin price goes its ATH in the Q4.

I think it will take time before we see another bull run. That is the reason why we might not see another bull run this year. This current bear market will end when all the weak players have finished selling their coins, after that a new wave will begin to bring new and fresh players to the game.

I think in 2018 we will not see much growth, but there is a possibility that growth will begin in the summer, I think in 2019 we will see a big increase in the capitalization of the Crypto-currency

You are thinking too much my friend. But you have a good point here, we can never tell what will happen should there be no bull run in this year. there is a big chance that a lot of investors might be pulling out their investment. But i doubt forecast and reviews shows that a bull run is evident in the last part of December and should it not happen the market will surely take a big revenge by the first part of the year.

A year cannot be considered complete without a bull run. So it will surely happen. You just have to be patient. After all, we are still in the middle of the year. There are 6 more months left in 2018. A bull run does not ask for a long duration of time. It could actually happen within a week or two. That could be more than enough time for Bitcoin and other altcoins to recover their all time high prices.

Even if no bull run happens nothing will happen. We shall be around and continue with our speculations, trading, bounty hunting, and so much more. Remember the market began this January and we've been complaining for such a long time but we're still down in prices and we're still around doing so much for crypto. So I think we may become fed up and might not even recognize the market is down.

Well, taking into account that a bull run for many of the ones who are writing in this thread is crossing the ATH... maybe not in 2018  but a bull run crossing the 10k-12k is quite possible.

I hope I'm wrong with the ATH prediction and we see a new boom very soon, anyway.

It depends on your perception about bull run Because according to my own experience since 2014 Bullish trends are always occurring yearly but it depends on your personal interpretation about bull run it maybe occur quarterly or 1st half of the year who knows but for me I'm not looking the Bullish trend to affect the entire market but only those few including listed on top rankings just my opinion.

We're still not quite sure whether a bullish market is about to show up because we're just midway through 2018. The market is always expected to be in good condition during the end of November through December every year. So my expectation is still the same that it will happen again this year.
