No Bull Run in 2018?

Aren't we in the bullish market yet? I can see how cryptomarket's market cap has grown over the past few days and i believe it is already a good indication that we are indeed in the bullish market. I think this is already the start of cryptomarket's final push in achieving another all time market cap this year.

What I found somewhat remarkable last year was how much money kept pouring into crypto at a steady pace, despite the relative difficulty of getting into the game - I'm tech savvy and I found it all extremely overwhelming at first. Uploading your passport and getting approved on Coinbase, the low debit card limit, bank transfers, getting authenticated on exchanges... takes a lot for a normal person, honestly.

Still, so many people did it. And even though many lost interest after losing all that money during early 2018, much more people are in position for the next bull run. I'm talking high debit card limits on Coinbase, addresses, and wallets everything set up ready for the first consistent period of good news. People will be careful at first... and then the FOMO will get them again, and we will have an extremely fast and spiky bull run.

There could very well be a bull run that dwarfs the previous one. If you look at the bull run in 2013 it's a classic blow-off top. The bull run in December wasn't. This tells me that the next one will be a blow-off top which will likely reach 2 to 3 trillion +. I still think it will take a little bit to get going as a lot of people are still psychologically recovering from the last run

We only have half a year, so many events can happen so for the moment the bull run has the same chance of appearance as at the beginning of this year. In my opinion,  we will see it  in autumn

If there is no sharp growth of the crypto currency in the near future, then the crypto currency market will most likely simply be in the consolidation until positive news is released that will push the price upward.

Probably no bull run at the end of the day but i think Cyptocurrencies are going to have a good time after 2018 since basically the market is shaping up and things are basically fixing up

2018 is a much expected year but to the entire cryptocurrency community it was a big backlog. Now things seems to take hold for a good breakthrough and reach at least a value above $10000 at the earliest. By now, around a week ago the bull run for the year has begun. Hoping for better days along with bitcoin.

Its not like after 5 months the world will stop. 2019 could be another good year for crypto. If you look how it was years ago for like 2010, you can probably buy more than a hundred BTC for your life investment. But now, you'd be grateful to have at least 5 BTC. I only have 1.3 BTC left in my account, I might have to spend it to invest on ICOs.

No Bull Run in 2018?

I am just wondering what will happen to the cryptocurrency market if there will be no bull run that can happen before the end of this year as what many have been expecting? Can we then anticipate a much lower market volume or will there be instead a big rebound like a market revenge? Or should we start watering down our expectations as soon as possible?  I have been thinking of the possible scenarios because I can sense that many cryptocurrency players and holders are really looking forward for a bull run or a bullish market soon...what do you think?

yes i think you are spot on. Another bull run so soon after the last one seems very unlikely and would probably not be a good sign (would indicate a massive trap IMO). I think yes markets will most likely fall more from here and soon enter a consolidation phase( of course we could already be in one assuming 5850 was the bottom, though i think that's unlikely). Of course this will mean that volumes will come down and they already largely have.
I think the massive retail investment that took place in December probably contributed to that massive run up, but at the same time a lot of those same December buyers have now lost significant amounts of money and will be a very cautious before entering the crypto space again.

The ETF will come into existence at the time of its realization. It took place 4 months after the SEC meeting in 2017.

Last year at this time BTC was around 1800-1900$ and news of an upcoming futures market was one of the catalyst that brought the price up to last years highs.
My point ETF's are much better then the futures market and if the futures market can rise the price like it did in 2017 ETF's could be a massive game changer without the crash.

When it is profitable for the whales to raise the price of bitcoin, they will surely publish a fake news. Here's how it was 17 July 2018. After that, bitcoin rose in price. And the next day this news was denied. ))) Speculative coin with high volatility.
