What is Squirrelcoin?
With Squirrelcoin we offer a complete solution to make affordable,
sustainable and healthy living our top priority.
We are actively engaged in the developments around sustainable and healthy living.
This has led to the development of two subdivisions of Squirrelcoin:

Squirrelpower and RE-NTS.

Lets begin with....

RE-NTS
With RE-NTS, we will meet the need for affordable, sustainable rental housing.
We will build new rental homes that are not only affordable, but "green" as well;
in other words, almost entirely self-sufficient and sustainable.
In addition to building in a sustainable manner, we will provide the homes with the latest technology in this area,
including Tesla products for power storage with their latest battery technology,
the latest solar panels, lower water consumption and the reuse of (rain) water using the latest techniques,
the latest technologies for efficient heating of the houses and possibly using heat pumps.

This combination results in a very attractive level of housing costs, while at the same time contributing to a better environment.

Squirrelpower
With Squirrelpower, we will start, build and exploit projects such as wind farms and solar farms.
This provides the opportunity for us to generate sustainable and eco-friendly energy on a large scale.

What will be our main focus at the beginning?

THE PILOT
The Netherlands is the ideal country for us to set up Squirrelcoin, because the housing market here is extremely tense due to high prices and short supply.
By the end of 2020, all new houses in the Netherlands are to be nearly zero energy buildings, followed by all houses by 2050.
We respond to this demand and give you the opportunity to contribute as an investor.
In the end, it’s all about creating a cleaner world, which we can pass on to the many generations to come.

BUT....

We believe that the value of a home not only depends on the home itself, but on the surrounding neighbourhood as well.
That is why Squirrelcoin has a number of initiatives to improve the neighbourhoods of our homes.
Our projects will be set up in a socio-economically and demographically varied way.
In addition to single-family homes, we will also build apartments, studios, student residences and adapted homes for seniors.

Additionally, there are numerous other initiatives for us to use Squirrelcoin in a social way.
There is Token 4 Trash, where residents can earn tokens by keeping their neighbourhood tidy.
These tokens can be used for (discounts on) healthy products and activities. This way,
we do everything we can to improve the quality of life and living in our neighborhoods and to stimulate a healthy and social life

Transparent
Squirrelcoin strives to be as transparent as possible.
The blockchain is the perfect environment to achieve that, while also being the most secure way of storing and transferring data and value.
The blockchain, as well as every purchased object, is visible to everyone.

We will create a transparent and reliable environment where we display all transactions and released tokens, as well as the construction status or value of a project.
This way, you can always see how many tokens are in circulation, how many tokens you own and how much that is worth.

To ensure a safe environment, we will stipulate in a contract that we will only release tokens at the start of new projects that comply with the NTS criteria.
These are offered via our website or in the Squirrelcoin app.

One of the most powerful tools we will use will be the Squirrelcoin app.
You can use this app to:

• Find all information on current and completed projects;
• See how many tokens are in circulation;
• See how many tokens are released per project;
• Purchase tokens for new projects;
• Participate in Token 4 Trash events;
• View available RE-NTS homes and indicate that you are interested.

These will be the basic functions in the app.
We will continuously work on more and better functions.

His eye for the rapid changes in the world makes sure that Squirrelcoin stays on top of the game.

J. Rutgers
Jeroen has been an independent entrepreneur since 2000.
He is a true 'early adapter' in the field of cryptocurrency and has been looking for sustainable solutions for some time now.
At Squirrelcoin, he is the heart of marketing, sales and research.

R. Vermeer
Richard has several years of experience as a managing director and as the owner of an ISO9001 certified company.
Because he has been investing in blockchain technology for a number of years, he knows like no other how this market works.
At Squirrelcoin, he is the spokesperson when it comes to internal and external communication.

K. Vermeer
Kenny has been an independent entrepreneur since 2010 and has more than ten years of experience in logistic planning.
At Squirrelcoin, he is responsible for effective production and operations processes.

C.R. Claus
As the enterprising force behind Squirrelcoin, Camiel is constantly working visually and commercially.
Driven by his interest in sustainable development, he has been involved with Squirrelcoin from the very beginning.

A. Remie
Alexander is a Solidity and Full-Stack Javascript developer.
He has worked at various companies including a Fintech, and has experience with online payments and Blockchain technology.
