Coinbase will direct deposit into your bank acct, or sell locally with localbitcoins.  Those are the 2 best options in my opinion

Another is an exchange.  Atomic-Trade is new but has a FinCen # and located in the US.   Just not much volume on it at the moment.

this person wants to use paypal only--  how about an escrow account and wait 45 days so a chargeback will no longer work?

If they want to use Paypal only, then you'll get scammed.   Best use a local face to face or an exchange.

Chargebacks can occur after 45 days.

Best option is a face to face exchange of cash for BTC using localbitcoins.com

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

best way is in person, in public. Do it at a library. Watch the transaction occur, make your exchange (coin or fiat), and walk away happily. No fees.

No reasonable person will wait 45 days to receive their bitcoins.

PayPal is very risky, you should only do it with trusted members.    >>  Like me.

PayPal policies will prevent the buyer to issue a dispute for Digital Items, but PayPal might suspend your account when or IF a dispute is initiated. PayPal doesn't like Bitcoin.

Also the buyer could do a charge back using its Credit Card company vs PayPal dispute.

sounds like a scam.

don't use paypal for receiving money.

even if someone seems trustworthy, they have up to a year to take back their paypal "money". you don't know if their morals or circumstances can change during that time. they might get desperate.

i would use western union or similar and split the fees with them sending first, or with escrow.

BTC.sx - Leveraged Bitcoin Trading. Simply use Bitcoin to take advantage of a rising or falling Bitcoin price.

PayPal them self, wont protect the Buyer on Digital Items.

THATS the reason allot of Scammers are selling Bitcoin via PayPal, because they know PayPal will not protect the buyers at all.

Those who used a Credit Card via PayPal, then they have the option to do a Chargeback via their Credit Card Companies.

Read this, its a personal experience being scam by a Seller selling Bitcoin.

I'd say LocalBitcoins for a face to face cash transaction. Meet somewhere safe like a Cafe, Library etc

Agree! it is really easy to arrange a meeting as BurtW has advised than wait 45 days) it's maybe good if you are far from each other and it's too hard to arrange meeting.
