Much thanks to helipotte for posting that there's a new firmware available.

I'm not really sure if there's an advantage to upgrading the firmware as I'm not seeing a difference in performance, but it's always good to have the latest version of the software (such as cgminer upgrade to 3.12  from  3.8.5).

Upgrade at your own risk, but if you decide to, here's a step-by-step video on how to do it.

       Upgrade the firmware on the Antminer S1

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Only thing I've noticed is that old firmware version have temp target at 50C instead of 40C, units seem to run a bit more stable pushing above 200 with the 40C temp target.

I ran it on the other Antminer for 24 hours and didn't have a problem so I upgraded the other Ant last night and I made the video.  It seems better, but I can't quantify it, lol.
