Bitcoin has many advantages over other currencies one is the current global recognition it has gained simply because it is the Leader who introduced the concept to the entire world and another reason is unlike other new currencies that are introduced today even Bitcoin transaction speed is bit slow we don's see Bitcoin usability getting restricted to one specific industry which gives a main advantage over others to accept Bitcoin as a globally usable currency

No one exactly knows.
It may be impossible at the moment, bitcoin being a forerunner among any other cryptocurrencies, but generally it is.
Technology is always constantly being improved day by day and it is not impossible that a better coin will overshadow it in the future.
Do not narrow your mind to the possibilities.

I have a strong feeling that some other coin will beat Bitcoin soon. It could be Ether or Neo or any other big coin will boom all of sudden and take over bitcoin in near future.

Transaction speed isn't particularly slow. Confirmations can be slow though.

Lightning network helps that part of it a lot though. That should fundamentally change people's perception of Bitcoin transactions. So far we seem to be heading towards that point.

I very much doubt that bitcoin can be defeated by another coin. Since bitcoin is the most famous coin. Although in the distant future everything is possible.

Other coin can really beat the blockchain of bitcoin, but the price? im not that sure if they can top what bitcoin has.

No way. Nothing can beat bitcoin, and most people prefer accepting Bitcoin when you give them option what coin they accept. for the next 15 years maybe btc will be dominate the cryptomarket however i doubt that there is any other cryptocurrency or altcoin that compete with bitcoin in fututre.

I do not think because of the increasing supply of other coins, the more Bitcoin coins are used or sold. it all goes indirectly the bitcoin coin is touched first to have another coin. maybe what you mean can happen if the volume of the market gets bigger on the other coin it can compete with bitcoin coin. Still, Bitcoin becomes the number one coin.

I think it is possible.
You can see that today there are a lot of very strong Blockchain platforms that have been developed to overcome the disadvantage of Bitcoin and I think they will have the ambition to be the strongest (we can see the great potential of Ethereum)
The biggest disadvantage of Blockchain technology is that it need majority of votes of miner to change their platform, but over the forks you still see a lot of Bitcoin weaknesses.
So, in my view, Bitcoin will be replaced, but in the distant future, when Blockchain platform applications are used in the real world

In order for a coin to defeat bitcoin it must be:

1) A better store of value (very hard to achieve, due the big PoW network of bitcoin)
2) A better payment system (easy, because bitcoin doesn't really scale much, without giving away some privacy and decentralization)

The problem is it must be BOTH, otherwise bitcoin will always be at least the best store of value. If LN is a success maybe it can be both.

I think even they more transaction that not the basis because just temporary and lets consider also its value which is other coins are more cheaper than bitcoin,  so more transaction to other coins the value is still very low.

The speculation around whether there will be a coin that could beat or overtake the bitcoin is largely going to be possible if and only that coin uses another ledger and is found to be valuable and useful to crypto users. For now that is very unlikely.

The possibility is very small, we know that bitcoin is the most popular in crypto, the first coin and become the main and many believe in bitcoin. I think altcoin will have trouble beating bitcoin.

Eventually another coin is going to replace Bitcoin and topple it from the number one position in terms of number of users and market capitalization. But I am sure that it is not going to happen during the next five years.

I think bitcoin will always be number one. Eventually the price will stabilize and it will be on the same level. But of course it will be necessary to improve bitcoin.
