I think so. There are so many altcoin in the market that has the potential to be great. And can beat bitcoin in the future. And ethereum has the best chance in doing it.

Even if it happens, it will be not earlier than in 2022. I suppose until this time Bitcoin will remain the best one, the number one cryptocurrency. IMHO.

I don't think we can see any coins beating btc in the coming years .It will eventually happen though when many exchange start integrating Fiat to direct altcoins

it seems that it could happen if bitcoin is not good and has no demand anymore and even bitcoin is very useless and fails to be digtial currency then bitcoin can be defeated by another coin that will be created in the future.

I don't believe that there is an altcoin which has enough popularity and enough power to beat bitcoin. I think eth, ltc and many other coins have great potential for the future, but I don't think they can beat btc.

if the forecasts for the etherium become a reality, then the etherium in the near future will be able to overtake Bitcoin by capitalization. And this shows the real changes in the leaders of the crypto-currency market.

If these coins will be more dynamic and innovative than bitcoin, maybe they can have a chance to catch the price of bitcoin, but I think this can not be even in the following years.
