does it the right thing to judged someone who was so passionate about bitcoin and onto the forum?
I can judge who I want when I want and whatever way I want. How does that matter to you even if you are the one being judged? Or do you just feel bullyed when questioned about simple facts? Its obvious from your posts that your grasp of English is poor and that is why we have local boards. The forum does understand that people from different communities come here and to give them a place to chill there is the sections for local languages.

But seems like you are more interested in arguing with others than to seek the solution that has already been presented to you in this thread long back.

and personally you are the one decreasing the quality of your post since you were arguing with people who loved posting on a local board so to speak!  Wink
Personally, have you even seen the number of "Merits"  I have obtained leaving out the default 500merits after the merit system got introduced?

Thanks for the references to the Fit to Talk English project. This seems to be read quite a lot, but activity is reduced. The real idea behind it was for non-English speakers to have a go at posting in English, and we would help them to tidy up their posts. This doesn't seem to be happening at the moment, and it may be due to my neglect. It may also be due to the fact that members don't feel that their English is good enough. So let me tell you a story.

When I was learning to drive, three of us booked a course on a skid pan. The car was an old Austin with bald tyres, and the surface was covered with wet lime. The first of us who went on to the pan spent all his time avoiding skidding, and he made a very good job of it. The instructor told him that he had wasted his time, as he was there to learn how to control skids, and not how to avoid them. I must admit that I was a bit mad, and I hit a lot of tyres and cones, but I learnt a lot about skid recovery. So what is the moral of this story? When you are posting on the English language boards here, you need to avoid skidding in your post - ie. you need to use reasonable, fluent English that your readers can understand. When you are on the Fit to Talk skid pan, then you can hit all the English tyres and traffic cones you like, and we don't care if your post goes into a spin - well as long as you are trying to be constructive. We'll help you to keep your posting in a straight line, and avoid hitting the mod barriers here. If you want to avoid leaving skid marks in your posts, you need to learn the controls, and how to handle the English language.

I've added a photography section to Fit to Talk -  The photography and content production board

Hopefully we can use this to help members earn from using budget photo kit whilst they practice their English

why I do need to care if you leave your defaulted merit in the first place?

Lemme tell you a strory, once upon a time in a forum about Bitcoin when a lot of shitposter scattered all over the place mostly came from a local, there was a merit system been implemented through this people tend to post quality rather than posting nonsense to get the most promising activity to rank up.

Inside this story was you and me and everyone else in the forum a person begging for merit a person qualified to be merited through a good quality of post in which case was you, and a person who don't personally been affected by it just continue to be a member and so on.

I shall not only leave a skid marks but rather make a good graffiti on the road when time comes.

The real big problem is we all can not do nothing to help them to write and publish higher quality threads if they won't change their attitude on the way the would like to use the forum first.
In a word, changing users' attitude is utmost thing.
The real idea behind it was for non-English speakers to have a go at posting in English, and we would help them to tidy up their posts.

There have been lots of topics on English books, tips/ guidelines to improve English and thread quality, but I believe there have been very limited forum members used them for learning and improving their writing skills. It's the fact.
One more time, attitude strongly affects their willing to use helpful resources to learn, and improve themselves.

I'm thinking of adding a teamspeak server to the Fit to Talk English project. It seems that some good members are still concerned about posting in English. I wondered if the chance to talk in English might help them. At least it would mean they wouldn't have to worry about spelling. Smiley

btw you can post in Binglish on FtT - that's Bit coin talk English, the Lingua Franca here.

Writing is much different than speaking, so I don't think you gave relevant solution for shame English-writers.
Your suggestion is more relevant for shame English speakers.

Your forum should have collections of Bitcointalk forum slangs, too.

I think the poster is concerned that he does not know English very well, but most of the post are in English. So he is scared of missing some important information. I guess you can always use some translation site, free on the internet to assists you and can also use it to translate from your native language into English. But be careful because they translator sometimes  translates with grammar mistakes. So it is best to keep it simple to avoid serious errors.

I think that is the reason why bitcoin talk is built in with local boards. It is open for any nationality. But is you wanted to communicate well, you should also try to improve your language. NOT that too good but a language that anyone could at least understand.
I think it is not a barrier as long as you try to understand it yourself by learning.

does it permitted or not to post in many local board which i did already https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4610753.msg41649185#msg41649185 on this topic i just want to broaden my availability to speak or type which regarding language barrier, anyone?

Of course you can post in any local board if you know the language. You can only broaden your availability if you have a wide range of languages in your reach as it is against the rules to use translators to post in local boards.

Local boards have their own functions, but most of real-time or fastest updated news often appeared in global boards at first.

I think it is not a barrier as long as you try to understand it yourself by learning.

Forum members, especially non-native English speakers, should prepare, and improve their English skills - particularly reading (first) then writing skills - which will obviously help them to be easierly catch ideas of others and also help them to have more efficient discussions in the forum.
I think the poster is concerned that he does not know English very well, but most of the post are in English. So he is scared of missing some important information
It only should be used at the start because translational softwares might do something seriously wrong.
Therefore, forum members should do it themselves (of course, they should have good English skills).
