Even if the prediction gone wrong, you still can earn with another altcoin that you hold meanwhile bitcoin price will be recovery slowly. it's just the time that you need to hold bitcoin is increases, but because it is bitcoin, there should be no doubt when holding it.

I don't think that when you buy some then you will proceed to sell some. I don't know what coin could be that much independent when it comes to plummeting period of the price of cryptos in the market. I directly go into the holding whenver I buy a coin.
