After the central banks ban on cryptos in India, people will be looking for P2P trading.
Bitcointalk can have provided a platform for such trades. But the marketplace of India is messed up.Full of spam and ICO promotions.

I reported as many posts as I could. But it's going to be very difficult to clean that section without a designated mod.The spam is too much.

Already a thread is created here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3319980.msg34677742#msg34677742 I suppose theymos hasn't found the right person yet. If he's having a hard time finding someone, our Indian community can short-list and suggest 5 candidates which will be further evaluated by theymos to choose the right one.

I am from INDIA,I also have the same same feeling. there should be one moderator for INDIA.

India’s first bitcoin exchange Zebpay says there are more than 1.5 million bitcoin users in India and 200,000 users are being added each month.

I do remember this thread.
Probably, theymos thinks that the section is inactive.
It's inactive because of all that spam.Makes it hard to have any discussion.

The designated shitting streets will be shat in. There’s nothing that can be done, the Indian board is a shitting street.
You could learn a few things from my pet dog.He only barks when it's needed to (ain't racist either)
Not a very good dog, are you? Go and woof on your father for not teaching you enough manners.Lowlife retard.
