If bitcoin is the king there will be no other king than bitcoin,we can call ethereum as the eldest song of the king which should be proven through time.Ethereum is the best platform as of the moment though theres a lot of competitor like VeChain which is really good too but as long these developers are going to use ethereum there wont be any coin to overthrow ethereum in its current position.

Currently, Ethereum is far ahead of its closest competitors. The number 2 is NEO, but is basically has the same set of problems Eth faces now, so there is no much sense for ICOs to stick to it. On the other hand, NEO-based ICO are less likely to be a scam for some reason.
