Philippines is rather late in the development of cryptocurrency. The Philippine government has just approved and regulated its fourth and fifth cryptocurrency exchanges. The primer in the country were Betur Inc, Coins.ph’s operator, and Rebittance Inc., approved in September and October 2017, and the most recent one is BloomSolutions, which was approved just this May 2018. It was reported that there are currently 29 applications for cryptocurrency exchanges awaiting approval. Although a third world country, I hope this country will bring in more investors in the cryptocurrency world.

This indeed a great news. With the ever increasing popularity of the bitcoin as well as the market of crypto currency, different organizations, companies, institutions and governments of different countries are coming to this market. This post signifies that the market of crypto currency is getting accepted in different countries day by day.

I think it's never late to adopt cryptocurrency. It is better late than never. Philippines took a good step towards cryptocurrency and I hope this will bring good changes in the market.

This is indeed a great news. This just proves that the world of crypto currency is slowly making its way all over the world. The participation of the world signifies that the market is just getting stronger and stronger. Let's hope that more countries will become encouraged and will contribute in the market as well.

This is a good news for the crypto currency market. if the government accepts the crypto currency the popularity and the usage of the currency in the country will increase. this would increase the demand as well as the price of the market. also by seeing this other country will follow and accept the currency.

This is interesting. I'm from the Philippines and only cryptowallet that also have exchange is Betur inc - Coins.ph (where you cam send to outside wallet only btc and eth but now have cx exchange that you can trade few different crypto and  then Abra which can only send/receive btc but cam buy using btc and fiat (Phil Peso) several crypto coins. I never heard of rebittance yet and will check it out also Bloom solution. I will also ask in our group cryptotrade ph about Rebittance and Bloom Solution.

By the way, you said 4th and 5th then what is the 3rd exchange? It's nice to know we have other option besides abra and coins.

Reality is the only thing that is real.

They know if that can bring them all a lot of money from the western countries. But it needs the more explanation about that about Are these exchange sites will become international exchange sites or only local exchange site. Remember the majority of major exchange sites were started from nothing to something

The Philippines, however, has a low share of the overall cryptocurrency market.
So I don't think the news will affect the whole market.

One of the best investment right now is in the Philippines economy. Huge investors are coming in and part of the tech revolution. Philippines now accepted and recognized the blockchain world. I'm very bullish that we will have Technohub or what we call the next silicon Valley.
