I told Shawn Haggerty that Kenny would make a claim. I hope he's paying attention. I suggest all bag holders let him know that it's proceeding. That's our money, at least a small percentage of it.
I lost ~35 btc on this piece of crap. Even if I never see a satoshi back I'd at least like to know Kenny gets his btc snatched away. Better even he goes to jail too.
I'm serious though, the more people bang on haggerty's door the more heat gets turned up under kenny's fat ass.
Call the man
Maybe Shawn Haggerty can make an official application to Gox trustee/liquidators, to claim the BTC does not belong to Ken.  Undecided

That's what I was hoping for when I contacted him months ago when the whole refund claim thing came up. I'm just one guy, maybe several voices will get results?

Even if we snatch them from KEN (which should absolutely happen) how do we even verify who has how much shares anymore? Crypto-trade is dead as far as I know. I took some screenshots but I doubt they are proving anything to be honest. And I doubt most of the shareholders even have that.

I got a copy of my API plus screenshots... Not sure how good that is, but the thing is... Even if none of us get paid back at least we can prevent men from profiting (which I wish I had done simply by not investing in the first place)

I sent sent Mr Hagerty another email asking about the status of the case, hopefully he hasn't forgotten about us. I can't believe it's been years and this is still going on...

No answer yet? Honestly, I did not await such a big amount. And I do not understand the mtgox trustee. First he calculates everything into yen, then he waives practically all euros los but accepts all bitcoins. Dunno if it means ken could get 400 bitcoins out.

Unfortunately I do not even have slight proof of my claims. At that time I was not aware that it might make sense to make screenshots and all and then weexchange and bitfunder went belly up. So now I can't proof anything.

Very bad.

Does someone has an idea or something?

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I wonder if there's any way to see if he paid the fine even?

For those newbies in the audience who haven't yet come to the realization that everything on this site is a scam, and are on the verge of parting with their precious btc for whatever $venture comes next, please take a few days, weeks, or however long it takes to read though this thread. Dig around. Look even further back and know your history.

So so true^^^

This is just one thread that pretty much sums up, the path of 95% of the 'projects' in the crypto space.

Scams, gross incompetence, and delusional minds.

Honestly it's quite hard to learn from others mistakes, everyone always thinks, not me, that won't happen to me.

Most people learn from experience.

I've used my experience to better myself and make better decisions, so far it's paying off.

I'm a older shareholder from Norway, and being from the other side of the world i've felt kinda helpless dealing with my investment into this.
If i was in the US i would jump in my car and confront the scammer, he seems to be living very comfortable at the moment!
I hope im not the only old shareholder that is not okay with this just slipping away?
(Especially with the value of bitcoin lately and the mt.gox claim!)
I personally owned ~170 000 shares in this disaster and still have a hard time letting this go, especially after a quick search on facebook seing posts about Ken buying New sportscars and stuff!!! (check the photos!!)

How did you find those? I searched for him on Facebook with no results please share. I don't live quite as far away. There's securities dicks after him for money too. I'm sure they'd like to know of his activities and whereabouts

I'm sure everyone here has learn't a lesson with this.

A few things I learnt that have helped me a lot over the past few years include:

1. Don't invest into anything where you're relying on a third party exclusively.

2. Don't go all in.

Regarding 1, this was back in the day that these ventures had their shares on centralised exchanges. I remember that after two exchanges went down the toilet I lost access to the shares and from that point onwards had no control.

These days I only touch ventures that I know I can trade in a decentralised manner (such as ERC20).

1. Take the 3.5ph being manufactured this month.
I don't think all 5,000 boards will be populated with chips this month. I think a more realistic estimate would be 2-3 months

2. Mine with it.
3.5ph/s * 1w/gh = 3.5MW which seems like it would be more power than our little datacenter can handle (especially since Ken said he plans on hosting a maximum of 800th/s) thereby making most of the subsequent points moot.

As long as being a Hash Fast reseller isn't our endgame, I think ActM should maximize sales so as to build up capital for mass production of ActM's own chips which should carry a greater profit margin than acting as a reseller.

Where can I find the standoffs or what is the hight of them

I am really sorry to hear you rode this into the ground.  I thought you were one of the people actually listening to my warnings.
