Why Ethereum is clogged up this past few days?

Ethereum network was clogged because of Fcoin, they host a community voting on the ethereum network to list their favorite coins and many people were voting which leads to the slow network been witnessed for some days.

Most likely some kind of glitch in the ethereum blockchain. A lot of people are trying to say that it is because the volume of transactions increased but if that was the case then this increase in the volume would be evident in the price of ethereum. ETH just like other cryptocurrencies is not perfect so we should expect glitches from it every now and then. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.
