We're looking to add bitcoin to my site that sells coffee cups and supplies: coffee cups and supplies

Anybody know of an easy way to add accepting bitcoin to a shopify website?

Thanks!

Yes. Go to CoinPayments (gives you the ability to accept BTCitcoin and altcoin payments) > Click "View All Cart Plugins" > Look for Shopify.

There are few other ways but they tend to restrict/limit some of the users (based on their location).

Thanks, I appreciate it.  It's taken awhile to find the time to implement it (it's not difficult), but should finally have it up by next week!

Thanks again for your help.

Of course, you can take a look at BitPay, active in the market since 2011. It's also integrated with Shopify and also offers plugins and POS integrations for online and retail merchants. The company has also a mobile btc wallet and a btc Visa-card destinated for consumers. Recently added the option to pay with BitcoinCash. No restrictions/limits for consumers based on their location.

Well you've got a few options here, I'll try to list them all.

1. Coinbase - They offer direct integration with Shopify stores. It's pretty easy to set up and you can find instructions on the website I've listed.

2. Bitpay - Also offers 1-click integration and this is probably the most popular solution for most merchants.

3. Gocoin - A little bit more work to integrate into Shopify, but easy-to-follow instructions are available.

4. Coinpayments (Bèta) - Easy integration into your Shopify store, but this gateway is still in bèta.

Those are all the Bitcoin gateways that I could find. I would definitely recommend going with either Coinbase or Bitpay, since they have the most established services.

This is a great thread. I was also looking to accept crypto payment for a restaurant coffee cup and bag service (https://budgetbranders.com/). We're on Wordpress though. It looks like these options have integrations through WooCommerce. We don't have people buying directly from the site. Instead we send them invoices. Is there an invoice feature you can use to send a request for a crypto payment?
