Hi,

I've spent some time recently digging through IOTA and figuring out if it is actually a good protocol.

I put together some problems I found in this post, together with a possible solution

https://medium.com/@jonathanvanderdaar/how-to-make-iota-actually-work-46879bb28635

Would love any feedback / discussion. I'm pretty sure IOTA guys would not accept any criticism if this post reaches them, but would be interested to discuss the problems I described with others who understand IOTA well.

(on the high level the issues I found are in case you don't want to read the entire blogpost: their approach to proof of work has no chance of working long term, and their protocol is actually pretty far from a nash equilibrium)
