Bitcoin or Property? What might be the best investment?

For I'd rather invest in property like house and lot, as we all know every year the price of property is increasing, and also I'd rather have my own house than a pocket full of money.

For me I will choose property  than bitcoin if I have enough money,because property is more safe than bitcoin know,por example you buy land that is big investment because the price of land is increasing all day.

Both have their own pros and cons .

In case of Bitcoins :

* You can Invest any amount that you want and that you have .
* It's risky but can give you good returns .

In case of properties:

* You need a bare minimum that ranges very high to be able to own a property .

* Unlike bitcoins you won't gain 100% profits but it increases slowly over time and will be able to produce good returns without much risk.

In case of properties the profit will be less but will be sure and will take time. It's abrupt in case of Bitcoins and we can even get into loss so that's not sure.

I think the best depends on the person who is investing it and the amount he or she posseses.

For small Investments bitcoins is the only option against property but for larger ones properties are favoured.

Well, property is a thing you can use or you can earn from it through various purpose. And it can be old day by day and value does not increases much. But on other hand investing on bitcoin you can not earn every day but if you wait for a long time you will get much more than investing on other thing.

I believe Bitcoin is the best investment in the long run but it's also the riskiest, properties won't give you as much as profit but it's a pretty typical and established market that will probably you keep the money flowing within the years! Even with that, I strongly suggest you invest in cryptocurrency.

If the one would invest in bitcoin there must be no tax on it because it only depends on value of the Dollar but sometimes bitcoin lose its value and reach from top to the lowest point and the money of the invester reduced to very low.

I will consider a property than bitcoins. Bitcoins is too volatile and risky  to spend my whole investment into it , even it is not satisfied by many government as a reliable form of investment.

If I have enough money to buy a property like condominium or house and lot, Ill choose it over Bitcoin. Having a secured investment is better than taking a risks

Long term speaking, property prices won't ever be able to catch up with crypto in general. The amount of growth that crypto has gone through already is enough to keep property increases behind for hundreds of years.

If you also look at how much potential this market still has, then you can safely add another couple of hundred years that property increases won't be able to catch up on crypto.

I can see investments in properties become a viable option at the moment crypto in its entirety has developed itself to such extent, that you can't expect it to increase with another 500-1000% easily.

1. Most people cannot afford to buy property, so they take a home loan at a Bank. The home loan is paid back with interest and some of these loans are spread out over 20 years to make it affordable to the person who takes out the loan. So, over that 20 years the house of $100 000 will cost you say $1 000 000. {$900 000 paid in interest}

The argument is also that the property has to increase in value, with more than $900 000 for you to say that it was a good investment AND you have to sell that property to get that profit.

2. The other side of the room said it was better to rent a smaller property and to invest the "savings" into something like Bitcoin, because your profit will pay for a bigger deposit or even a whole property in a few years time.

I think paying a high interest rate to a Bank is just as bad as paying rent to a Landlord, because you are getting screwed in both these circumstances.  

We all want to live in big houses that we cannot afford. 

Point 1 is true, not everyone can buy property because the value of property usually very expensive.
But in cryptocurrency, you can buy it in fraction. Keep accumulating the good coins is good for your investment.
Thats why im joining cryptocurrency, because i can save my money and invest on some good projects.

Well, if we see a repeat of last years performance <800%+> in Bitcoin, then no property investment that I am aware of, will be able to compete with Bitcoin. The property prices in my area has only increased in value with a average of +/-5% per year. So at this rate, it would take 160years before property increased in value with the same percentage of profit that I made in 1 year. ^lol^

It is astonishing to see how many people still cling to the safety and security that property investment offer them. A balanced portfolio will have a combination of safe and high risk investments.

Buy an apartment in some poor country with half of your saving ( no need a loan probably) and then rent it.
Buy bitcoin with the other half of your savings.

I would never buy an expensive house these times.. it will worth nothing in 20 years + there will be some war/earthquake that can destroy it in no time.

Well, these days, people would go for Bitcoin, as it is the best long-term investment out there now. It is also true that real-estate market is profitable in some parts of the world, but not everywhere. Not everyone can afford to invest in real-estate sector.
