Bitcoin or Property? What might be the best investment?

I think that most of the people will choose to have property over than choice to have bitcoin right now because bitcoin is so unstable when the property is the thing that you obtain and rejoice.

Property is my first choice because whatever happens property price will rise and will give assured value. But iN bit coin we can't say what will the price of bitcoin.

Obviously investing in property is very less risky than investing in bitcoin but if you want to earn more profit in less time then investing in bitcoin is the best investment for you but surely it is risky also. I always prefer investing in bitcoin rather then investing in property.

I prefer to invest in bitcoin, my money is not enough to buy property and if I buy by borrowing at a bank, it is very unprofitable because of the large interest.
My strategy is to invest in bitcoin for the long term then after the price of bitcoin is really high I will sell it and then I will buy property in cash, so there is no interest from the bank.

Bitcoin is the best investment and profitable if you are good in trading.Property is also good to invest but it takes more year to gain some profits unlike in bitcoin that you can provide  more income even in short period of time.

For now i will still choose to invest with bitcoin because bitcoin is one of the best investment now especially when the value of it will pump again up to $17k and i know it will happen so my advice for many people here in crypto is to first invest in bitcoin over than property.

I think for many people, both of these two choices are not good investments for them ,not mention to best. Property, more concerned about affordability, many times you have to get at least a bulk of money to pay the deposit . Bitcoin is with such a volatility ,  and not every one can take the risk. More over, these two choices are not comparable in an investment portfolio.  Anyhow, interesting topic

I am an investor of bitcoin but between these two i would choose the property, simply because i am 100% sure that it will remain unlike bitcoin, we dont know what gonna happen in bitcoin in the future, i mean we dont know if it still  alive in the next more years.

We had a very interesting discussion over the weekend and people debated if it was better to invest in property or to invest in Bitcoin. The argument was as follows :

1. Most people cannot afford to buy property, so they take a home loan at a Bank. The home loan is paid back with interest and some of these loans are spread out over 20 years to make it affordable to the person who takes out the loan. So, over that 20 years the house of $100 000 will cost you say $1 000 000. {$900 000 paid in interest}

The argument is also that the property has to increase in value, with more than $900 000 for you to say that it was a good investment AND you have to sell that property to get that profit.

2. The other side of the room said it was better to rent a smaller property and to invest the "savings" into something like Bitcoin, because your profit will pay for a bigger deposit or even a whole property in a few years time.

I think paying a high interest rate to a Bank is just as bad as paying rent to a Landlord, because you are getting screwed in both these circumstances.  

We all want to live in big houses that we cannot afford. 

For me, I will invest in bitcoin because in bitcoin you will earn money and will grow it even it takes long atleast it is doubled ir tripled to the money that you invest, using bitcoin and earning from it you can have a property and a lot of, and you can use your money from investing in bitcoin by creating business and make it grow, you can also invest to others and use it to buy more properties and use it to create a business.

Why not both? Investing in a tangible property like a house is realistic because you can pass it down and use it for a long time. Meanwhile, bitcoin is unpredictable and involves high risk. This is not to say that you should not invest in bitcoin, however, it might be wise to invest in both. If you have money to buy bitcoins, surely you can also put some in investing a physical property, right?

For me, I will invest in bitcoin because in investing bitcoin you can have a lot of benefit like earning money, earned money that can use to buy important things such as house, car and a storebthat can use to grow the money you have. Using bitcoin you can have a property because the money that you have in earning bitcoin can be use to buy property and can use to build a business.

As for me, I would prefer property investment. I think I will have less fear about the market fluctuations and uncertainties. It is somehow more guaranteed in years to come. Bitcoin market can crash easily, but can also skyrocket easily too.

If in the order picking, I would choose to invest in property, because the current price of bitcoin now can not be sure. While the property we can buy homes with good strategic position, and when we already have more than one home, we could rent  other houses that we have doubled our income and not need a home care costs.

You’re comparing apples from oranges. Real estate property is totally different from cryptocurrency. Physical vs. virtual, etc.

We at Bitssa.com feel that there is no comparison between the two investment options. Property will always fetch you stable yet decent to zero returns. On the other hand, we all know that Bitcoin as an investment option is a very unpredictable commodity. It is very volatile in nature and we never know when we might get lucky and make huge profits or run out of luck and incur losses, which absolutely depends on the market condition. Bitcoin is partly a by-product of hype created on the internet and partly because of its unique security feature which has created trust in it as an investment option for investors across the globe. So it is better that we play safe. It is not advisable which is a better option out of the two but both have their advantages and disadvantages, bitcoin being more risk-prone. Also, gone are the days when property used to be the most trusted investment option but post the global meltdown of 2008, things have changed drastically for property as an investment option. Bitcoin can though fetch good returns if it is properly managed and dealt with in a patient manner. Thanks for the post but one thing  i want to point out is that Bitcoin is not an investment and it was not meant to be and will never, according to the white paper of bitcoin. we should endevour to use bitcoin for what it was meant for from the inception which is  a decentralized  P2P transaction. When we see bitcoin more than an instrument to put money in the hands of the poor by eliminating an intermediary and their cost of service that is when we will be holding or hoarding to get profit thereby turning ordinary P2P transaction to investment. This attitude is attracting enemies to the coin and bringing along side all the negative attention of banning and regulations here and there. Let us invest in an investment portfolio and leave bitcoin for payment of goods and services on P2P basis.
