Hey I'm new to that crypto game and wanna make some money  Have bought into BTC and have sent it to bitfinex now and wan't to start trading and investing later. A friend of me who is in the game for while told me that almost all coins are crap and I should hold only BTC and maybe Monero but not now because prices are still too high. I'm thinking now about to short Ripple, IOTA, Litecoin and Ethereum. So my question is what is the most worthless shitcoin that make me the most money with shorting and how low can it go? I think this amount should be invested only in BTC and ETH because these are the most reliable coins for investment now and the risk is small. |

Now there are a lot of coins in the market and periodically I change the composition of my portfolio. but it always remains the same -40 - 50% - is bitcoin, 10-15% - ethereum, 5-10% - NEO, Dash, Monero, Ripple. a couple of months ago I added EOS to my portfolio, I hope the project will not disappoint.

It's interesting to note that the op was from last month.
Situations are different now, current market conditions are pretty much the worst it has been this year.
So if you want to "short" a coin, there is definitely a lot of opportunity.
It is a very risky trading strategy, you really have to crunch data in proportion to the coin's trading history to be successful.
If you don't you are literally gambling.
Instead I would recommend you look for medium range trading strategies to prepare for the next bull run.
Basically, it is looking like we won't see things truly take off until the end of the year.
You can research projects that are the best in their own category, and map out their development roadmap to get a good sense on when it will pump.
If it coincides with nov/dec, then you can take advantage of that to make some huge trades.
