Eth has issues with their transaction speed. In the last few days the gas was like 0.80$ which is way to high. The reason behind this was that there was a voting going on for an exchange listing and this slowed down the whole ETH blockchain. This just cant happen if ETH plans to be successful in the future.

3. Prevent any possibilities of scaling issues and network congestion in future. Ethereum is known for its speed and people will really quit using it if they will find that the blockchain has gone slow.

Every coin should improve the services they offer to holders instead of trying to be another coin. Originality should be preserved and not an imitation of ideas.
