I flip these every now and then.

I do have a DDR3L of corsair. Its sealed. No idea when it was purchased.

I just googled the prices it seems they are still available for pretty cheap prices.

After reading on Tom's Hardware i learned that it is not a good idea to mix ram modules even if from same manufacturer. Let me know in case you come across one of these (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10)
