i have two sapphire r9 280x vapor-x and one asus r9 280x dc2t.
if i run them all, no matter what i try dc2t goes to sick after a few minutes of mining (and then driver error appears).
i tired different slots and disabling ulps, didn't help any. i tested cards and they are fine.
my rig is msi 970a-gd46,
amd sempron 145
geil evo corsa 8 gb ram
win 8.1 64 bit
13.11 beta driver, 2.9 sdk
etc...

anybody else?

Sick usually means the card can't handle the load.

Are your cards running stock?

What happens when you run them at stock volts? Possible you undervolted to much?

May wanna up the volts in small increments on the card that goes sick immediately.

That's basically the card telling you it will work, but needs a little more powar.

vrams of vapor-xs got too heated, cards throttle and i start to get 500 kh/s per card. my vrams are elpida. i have to undervolt them, but i used both of them undervolted more than 1 month without a problem.
