NOTE: Just for clarification, this re-branded thread of NANO was created by me upon the approval of "Troy" and "Austin" of NANO's official Discord; however, as a few people around don't want a new thread, I'm locking this as I don't have time to deal with trolls around.

Nano, formerly RaiBlocks (XRB), using its own block-lattice structure, wants to succeed where Bitcoin has fallen short. It promises to deliver zero-fee transactions in real time without the same work-intensive overhead and energy consumption as Bitcoin. Like IOTA, Nano uses a Directed acyclic graph (DAG), but instead of using DAG for the tangle, Nano employs its own novel tech called the "block-lattice".

Nano's mission is to become a global currency with instantaneous transactions and zero fees over a secure, decentralized network.

I'm not a part of their team, I'm only a NANO holder. Even all the moderators/managers of NANO's discord (and other such channels) are only holders & believers (not a part of their team in any way), I'm no different case. I told them about the new thread creation and they gave me a go-ahead, so I went for it.

According to community manager with whom I chatted a bit:
