I don't think there will be a large number of industries using bitcoin in 10 years. Many companies will use blockchain technology.

That is a good possibility. Bitcoin in a decentralized way isn't interesting for governments and their friendly businessmen, but Blockchain technology is. To become mainstream isn't an easy task, you need the cooperation of the media, big investors, corporations, governments, mafias... And Bitcoin doesn't have support from any of those factions.

But these factions can invest their time and money in another Crypto-Currency, making use of Blockchain technology, until they have a new centralized mainstream currency.

Bitcoin is just about 8 years old and has been able to spur the growth of a whole new market, almost becoming a notable asset class. It will do much more even before 10 years

I think bitcoins will be someting everyone wants to have in the years to come, but i'm not sure if people will spend them or save them. When the Fiat money system brake down, new nationals goverments control crypto cut be the new mainstream.

Yes, I think it has all the chances. Already, a large number of people know what it is. So, if the Crypto-currency will develop, and most likely it will be, then this will automatically become the mainstream.

I agree.Bitcoin has still so much potentials to show and i'm sure that it will become mainstream in the next ten years especially that our world at the present is heading into a digital age.And having bitcoin would be a great advantage not just as a store of value, but also as a payment currency to make fast, convenient and accurate transactions.

Agree. The fact that a lot of people already from different countries have known cryptocurrency particularly bitcoin is already a big factor that will totally make bitcoin become mainstream after 10 years. And i know that by then, bitcoin will be more useful to more people knowing it will soon to replace fiat currency.

BTC, although the popularity of nhungw they are quite inadequate. In my opinion they will not be the main currency for the future world economy

yes, you are right that bitcoin has the potential to dominate every market and every transaction in the future, today we see bitcoin used to store assets and also for some crypto trading.

spreading and bitcoin volume will make bitcoin acceptable to the public, but for large scale trades.

What I can't understand here is that how will bitcoin become major payment way in next 10 year? As you see, when price was nearly 20K, transactions got stucked and fees were skyrocketed. So from this we can say that current bitcoin isn't for massive use and if you remember, that's the reason why there was a fork of bitcoin and we got bitcoin cash. Not bitcoin but alts like ethereum has high chance of it or we have to change something in bitcoin as time goes.

I believe BTC will continue growing exponentially for the foreseeable future.  BTC didn't just happen to spring up and grow this industry like this all grass roots and natural.  Big boys were behind it and they are planning on something more than a 300 billion market cap.

I don't think so because bitcoin is now having a lot of competitors in the market and that is a sign that the cryptocurrencies now are getting better and better than before and it means that the bitcoin might have some difficulties maintaining its rank because there is a lot of cryptocurrencies that could possibly surpass bitcoin in the next 10 years.

To become Mainstream in the coming year may be or not, because Bitcoin is a pioneer of Cryptocurrency and we can see if Bitcoin down then other Altcoins also come down the price, and if Bitcoin go up then other Altcoins also rose in price.

And Bitcoin in the coming year will not be as mainstream as possible when Satoshi Nakamoto's identity is known to those who dislike Bitcoin. LOL

no doubt it will have that behavior but I think that as a reserve of value not as a fiat bitcoin I still do many studies there are still no well defined things all depends on the community where you want it and what you know is that the technology is very good and that is what makes people go to bitcoin confidence in the chain of blocks will always be going up and down that is inevitable but will see a time when it will rise a lot and will settle on that price for a long period in these moments it is seen that it is going upwards which is good

It is real for that period of time. But still it is long about 10 years, in year 5 or 3 years the popularity of Bitcoin will grow up very fast and the price will be better than now.

It has a big chance to become mainstream. As we see there are more and more countries now that are trying to adopt bitcoin. Some other companies are also now accepting bitcoin as payment.

According to a study conducted by researchers at Imperial College London, cryptocurrency has the potential to become a form of payment that is widely used for decades to come. In their research report entitled "Cryptocurrency: Overcoming Barriers to Trust and Adoption" Professor Imperial College London, William Knottenbelt, and Imperial College Business School Dr. Zeynup Gurguc, argue that cryptocurrency has so far acted as a store of value like a fiat currency.

I also think so, Because nowadays people are investing in cryptocurrency and may be after some years Bitcoin can become Mainstream .

Maybe next ten years it can be used widely, but i don't think we can guarantee bitcoin will be like that in future and maybe in future many great crypto currency created that can be rival bitcoin.

Possible yes because we are always promoting bitcoin to be more exploded and circulate until reach on top of what we desired to be great chances of users and holder ahead of non believers we can used two currency bitcoin and Fiat.

how it will become? it is already the mainstream now, more and more experts are starting to study all about crypto currency, and i think after a decade from now, bitcoin will become more popular, and had a massive adoption on that time. i cant wait to see how more successful this bitcoin is.

Yes, it can become a mainstream since you are aiming for a decade which means a lot could happen and things might get really exciting for bitcoin, with a lot of future unknown twist and turns, my answer is still a hunch because bitcoin is showing an immense amount of unpredictability in the market.
