It's really hard to predict where the 10-year bitcoin will come from. But my guess is that we will not be able to believe in a few years. But I think it will lose its effect over time.
I think it can't be in 10 years that bitcoin is the main currency, because it is impossible to replace fiat money. For large-scale trading using bitcoin is more profitable, but for small trades, paper money is easier and simpler. If as a companion for fiat money, I'm sure of that. Bitcoin can be global money, because no country claims it.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I think ti can, as more and more economies come under pressure, many are turning to Bitcoin, like Gold, as a safe haven. As also more and more of the unbanked populations with a cell phone start getting into Bitcoin and Cryptos, you will see us going from 1% of the population holding or using crypto and Bitcoin to at least 20/25%. I easily see this happening over the next ten years. As more institutions and regulations come into place, you will see many people having pension funds with Bitcoin in them and people getting their wages in Bitcoin too. I think everyone should try to aspire to save up and own at least one Bitcoin over the next two years.

Bitcoin is already mainstream. Mass adoption would make more sense in your article. The only reason bitcoin is not on the mass adoption train is becuase of FUD news scaring people in the belief that bitcoin is used for crooks. Just bullcrap... Also the government is involved and they are trying to control it. Eventually mass adoption will happen sooner than later.

how it will become? it is already the mainstream now, more and more experts are starting to study all about crypto currency, and i think after a decade from now, bitcoin will become more popular, and had a massive adoption on that time. i cant wait to see how more successful this bitcoin is.

In United Kingdom is the same you can do everything with bitcoin everyone accept bitcoin as a payment method and i see some merchants from Alibaba accept bitcoin (I dont try, too risky)

P.S in United Kingdom Escorts and some Erotic Massage accept bitcoin (i dont try it but i will do for sure )

The time is so far away that we can't control it. Make predictions until early 2019 when the crypto market is restored and Bitcoin regains its place. That may be the objective assessment of the financiers.

If pure development attracts businesses and government to use the system, and yes after several years bitcoin together with well known alts which caters some good venues of services will be in a mainstream there's no doubt that the development and the popularity of such investment currency are really attracting more and more people's interest, even those who didn't believe before are now looking for its potentials and start buying and holding coins.

It seems to me that bitcoin has long ceased to be just a repository for fiat. In Japan, 90% of stores accept bitcoin for payment and this trend is emerging in other countries.

According to a study conducted by researchers at Imperial College London, cryptocurrency has the potential to become a form of payment that is widely used for decades to come. In their research report entitled "Cryptocurrency: Overcoming Barriers to Trust and Adoption" Professor Imperial College London, William Knottenbelt, and Imperial College Business School Dr. Zeynup Gurguc, argue that cryptocurrency has so far acted as a store of value like a fiat currency.
Yes it will become the mainstream someday, I fully believe in that. As you can see and analyzed, the volume of bitcoin and other altcoins are increasing very high as the time passes. So we can conclude that as long as the time passes and the news of bitcoin keep spreading, the more people and investors used this as a mode of payment. We can see that on other companies now accepting bitcoins and other altcoins. So it is just have a matter of time to become a mainstream.

At the present time, we can see that, in countries with strong economic growth, such as the United States and Japan, they have put Bitcoin into the payment service area of their country. This has made the economies of developed countries grow stronger. If Bitcoin can become a global coin, then maybe the world economy will grow better.

I'm confident it would be happen soon but can't predict certain timeframe either above or below 10 yrs from now. Imagine the technology is ever changing, all things natural and man-made has changed, therefore, get ready for the revolution of currency where paper money one day become a myth.

I think that everything goes to the fact that the whole world will start using the crypto currency as payment. It takes time, but I think. that this will happen

Are you sure about 90%?

I agree, Japan is very crypto-friendly country but I doubt that it`s so widespread..
It would have had pretty high influence on price - it it was true.

I think 10 years is really far for bitcoin to become a mainstream. I believe that bitcoin will become a main stream in crypto in the next 5 years. Bitcoin will rise up high and we cannot afford to buy it because want time bull run may start and it's price may rise without a prior notice. So let's buy more today and wait for its price to rise.

The cryptocurrency already has the responsibility of legal currency value storage, and other functions will be realized in the future. The cryptocurrency may become the mainstream payment means in the next decade!
It is only a matter of time before countries gradually accept bitcoin or other types of virtual currency!

Yes I think bitcoins and crypto currencies will become mainstream within the next ten years. More and more places adopt digital payments and central banks cut put there own currency on there own blockchain but to take that step, blockchain needs to proved that they can be 100 % secure to use, and that's what the crypto community are doing now.
Bitcoins are already now are stir of wealth and it's mainly used to trade other crypto's to be something we use when we do daily shopping, bitcoins payments needs the lighting network to be working or people can pay with a crypto backed credit card.

True enough. There is a need for pure development. Sure, it is easy to for businesses to accept bitcoin right now at its current stage as more and more people are pooling in and jumping inside the bitcoin land. But if the intention of development is superseded by greed, the initiative won't last long as the launch of engagement is purely on the profiting side.

There should be a healthy strike between business gain and welfare of the bitcoin community. It is only then that any initiative will be in for a long run. And honestly, short lived bitcoin engagement and initiative is not what we need now. The bitcoin market needs stable engagements to begin with.
