Sapphire R9 290x Toxic mining problems

Hey guys,

i have a Rig with the following hardware:

ASRock 970 Extreme4
AMD Sempron 145
500 GB Toshiba DT01ACA Series  SATA
Lepa 1600W PSU
4x Sapphire Toxic Radeon R9 280X

After 1-2 hours my cgminer crashes and i can´t do anythig against it. My current config is:

timeout 20
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.dogehouse.org:3334 -u x.x -p x -I 13 -w 256 -g 2 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-fan 80

As you can see, even with gpu-engine at 1000 cgminer is crashing. I really don´t get it.

Things i´ve tried:

- AMD Drivers Revision 13.12 and Beta Drivers 14.1
- setting gpu-engine between 1000 and 1080
- several other configs i found on bitcointalk

The other thing is, i can reach with these cards only ~680 khash. Normally a Toxic should do 730-750 easily.

Can anybody help me?

try
--gpu-memclock 1200   and do some tests for see, what temp you got right now? probably they get too hot and crashs

or try that script bellow, it crashs again try change the gpu memoclock until you get the best. check the temp of all cards.

Thanks for the advice guys! I don´t think it´s the temperature; the cards have 72-75° when running at maximum. I´ll try the configs and give feedback!

all the temps is fine, can be your psu not enought power, but if not probably not will turn on your machine or will turn off after a time, or the memory clock goes to high, try run at least a bit with not full clocl, let first your card burn a bit, after try full power.

For one thing, remove the --shaders line.  --Thread-Concurrency when specified overwrites the --shaders parameter.

GPU 3 is seems to be idle for more than 60 seconds, maybe because of that cgminer crashes? Why is it idle for longer than 60 seconds?

i  have  2 r9 290 Toxics  and  i have   the  same problem, the only way  that works it's   with guiminer, and the  maximum  hash  its  535khash




i  have  a coolmax 1000w, core i 3, 4gb ram, 250 hD, mother board biostar xtreme 4

can anybody helps me?
