Maybe you've all seen the price of BITCOIN that dropped dramatically now, I myself am observing some news / articles explaining bitcoin prices, there are a lot of articles explaining the bitcoin price reduction and also different explanation of the cause of bitcoin reduction, some say that the embezzlement, which explains that the sale of digital currencies by various trustees in the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange, Mt.Gox, is declared bankrupt and closes its business in 2014 after losing about 850,000 Bitcoin. Its founder, Mark Karpeles, who pleaded not guilty to accusations of embezzlement, and also because the big mafia who said that there is a big mafia that is playing, by selling all the bitcoin that has been obtained from the bitcoin scam website they had made last year, and also the price The falling XPY is now also the cause of bitcoin down, maybe what I hear is true, all the causes it may indeed affect the bitcoin price, if you have other explanation about bitcoin price ?, you can share your knowledge so that all know what really happened so bitcoin slumped.
I think there is encouragement and discouragement which responsible and result of negative and positive news which made different perceptions. Now the Bitcoin’s low price if goes more down then any negative news will make investors sell their coins which will decrease the value of Bitcoin further. So the market solution for high market price is big investments which will activate the value of Bitcoin in upward direction.

The price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies continues to decline to the lowest level this year. This is a case of hacking during this week that breaks into coins. To overcome this problem, the exchange of coins will be done offline while the remaining time and assets are transferred to cold storage

It is already down because we are in a bear market right now, And because of a sudden exchange that has been hacked the price that is $7000 USD and up crash to $5800 USD we are still in a process of regaining what is lost, I really think that there are people selling their bitcoin and exchanging with some other coin or there are a major panic in the community, And there are a lot of factors involve why the price is so down right now not just because we are in the midst of a bear market.
Bitcoin Prices Down is caused by the overreaction of news that Bitstamp, Coinbase, itBit and Kraken are being investigated for price manipulation. about what a good coin bought in the month of June. I predict ACT, TEN is ready to move up. there are several reasons why I chose both the coin and the token.

These are all one of the reason in price down but you forgot the miners because they are all secret support of Bitcoin supply.
Recently many miners are drop the mining platform but again they are interested to join the mining industry. So we should stay here Bitcoin will going to peak.

Because its bitcoin and it is what it does. It also went from 6.4 levels to 7.2 levels just a week ago, this is what bitcoin does, it goes up and down. Can we stop freaking out every single time bitcoin moves 10% ?
In reality moving 10% is so common for bitcoin that I feel like its breathing, inhaling and exhaling. We should stop focusing on why it is going down and we should start focusing on why it is so volatile and why moves so quickly with such a huge margin. We need a bit of stable life for us and without that stable prices bitcoin will always stay as a risky investment option for many people. It will never be anything more than that without any stableness.

Another idea people have been talking about is the lack of movement is causing lack of movement. Which creates a circle until someone breaks that circle chain. Meaning people see that there is no movement to any direction properly which means they do not invest more to get into that movement since there is none. Since they do not get into it because there is no movement, this results with having no movements as well.

It is a vicious circle and only whales react to small improvements or decreases in prices and make money that way but without the new people coming in we can't move higher and they won't come if we do not go higher.

Bitcoin price is going down because of Price Manipulation".There are heavy manipulations in the bitcoin price. They are carried out by BIG whales who have thousands of Bitcoins. Big Whales can easily bring the price down by selling their bitcoins at any time when they want to get the benefit.
The crypto market was recently affected in all the altcoins. But Bitcoin is always struggle the price fluctuation so Big whales are not involve in this price manipulation. I think few peoples are accepting this statement so long term holders are earn more crypto in the market. This year prices are continuously down it depends on crypto rejection.

And more than 2 months ago after the OP has open this thread, bitcoin prices seems to fluctuate and there's so single reason that we can pinpoint as to what or who is the real culprit, but we all have our idea as to why the market has reacted this way since the start of the year.

@justdimin - what you describes is the classic sideways trends, no clear indication or somewhat the price is consolidating for another break out run or a tight squeeze. Sad to say that Inexperienced traders focus on profits only, but if its doesn't goes on their favor they panic to cut their risk. Yes, its a vicious cycle and it might be another reason for this down trend that we are witnessing.
