PM rate limiting

I'm hearing from friends with newbie accounts trying to conduct trades on here that the PM rate limiter is really annoying.

Maybe it would be good if every response someone sends you credits you with at least one free reply that doesn't count against the rate limiter?

We should make a list of features that we want for the new forum in a single (stickied?) post. That way theymos doesn't forget the good suggestions.

Are they running into the PMs per hour limit or the 360-second limit?

(The 360-second limit is reduced if you whitelist them, BTW.)
