The easy thing to do is just to keep our security code safe from a third party. If we compromise our wallets , that is a problem. For instance, if you think your wallet has been comprised and probably the wallet is still empty, you just delete that and go for another one.

This is the reason why people are afraid to invest in cryptocurrency because of hacking incidents. Investing in cryptocurrency market is quite risky but we shouldn't panic if there is havking incidents. What we should do is to stay calm and don't be panic. Try to resolve this incidents and make sure that we should choose exhanges that has a much stronger security system so that our coins will be safe.

The majority of hackers were aiming to hack the centralized thing such as your wallet, exchange site and another centralized system. Just thinking to avoid by use the centralized thing. I use decentralized exchange and i have never got any problem with it. That's why i would like to aree about vitalik's opinion to the centralized exchange site must burn in hell.

You can't prevent this incident, this job is for the exchanges and other platforms that are offering services. What can we do right now is to store most of our crypto's on a safe vault like hardware wallet.
If you don't have that, then install those wallets that has private keys that you can hold to have control to your funds.

Well cryptos space is still new and most hackers have shifted their attention and energy to attack crypto space, but the same thing reminds when credit cards first came out, there were a lot hack incidence, but with time, they became more secured, so same thing with cryptos, those attacks will make cryptos to find means to better build and make a secure environment for everyone in the future.

yes, thats right, the exchange really need a great cyber security to make the platform safe
about our assets, all we need to do is keep our assets safe,
so, keep your crypto in the safest place in your home,, maybe a hardware wallet is very good choice

to be honest you can't trust the safety of the internet .. I think we should always be careful when you login to a web site.. always double check the link .. also must choose exchanges with stronger security system

we see this year a lot of hacked exchange, I think we can not help them, hackers must be attacked by hackers again.

using a decentralized exchange and securing any of our wallets with a double key becomes our choice. and do not keep your assets in the exchange wallet.

A hardware wallet is the best choice and don't store most of it in the exchanges so you can't avoid problems whenever they get hacked.

A desktop wallet is also what I'm saying when you don't want to use a hardware wallet and just leave it somewhere that you can access it.

to be honest you can't trust the safety of the internet .. I think we should always be careful when you login to a web site.. always double check the link .. also must choose exchanges with stronger security system
Correct! this is another thing that we should consider, beware of phishers too.

When the hack happened You cannot do anything, this is why it is suggested to store Your coins on hard wallets and keep only funds on exchange you are trading actively with. Use Exchange with 2 FA enabled and  save recovery on a safe place.

This is the best thing that we can do, to protect all the important details that we have especially when it comes to your private keys. A lot of shit people in this market who are trying to make money easily, so be careful in dealing with anyone.

First think about your own fund's safety, never keep all you have in any exchange platform or just diversify your risk of losing by keeping your assets in multiple exchange platform. This is the only think we can do to limit the loses by such hacks.

The one who is behind the exchange themselves need to be responsible for security of the exchange against hackers.

First thing first, stop keeping tokens on exchanges.
Secure your private keys, buy a hardware wallet..

Dont fail for phishing scams.
Being in cryptocurrencies, you are the one and only owner of your funds, and you are the only one responsible for keeping them safe.

Individuals had to secure tightly their account with 2fa and phone verification and when you are linking your api ensurebto that with a trusted firm and not just any third party license

Since the government of some countries have decided to regulate cryptos and also tax it, they also bear responsibility for ensuring crypto is safe.
So arrest and prosecution of hackers will go a long way in discouraging would-be hackers and reassure investors of a safe cryptospace.

Be anonymous online and diversify your crypto in some wallets. Do not put it all in one wallet so you can minimize the risk in different worst case scenarios.

If you want to avoid getting hacked then you should turn on 2fa so your account become more secured but if you want no risk then you should use decentralized exchange instead, the problem is right now there's only low volume at decentralized exchange so it's not great to trade there. Don't forget to withdraw your money if you are done trading to avoid worst case scenario.
