We're changing this January's currency. But only now that it is well advanced that we think it best to start to disclose. We will not do ICO and neither will we pre-sell But let's create the channel discord soon so we can unite a community that can help us realize the beta test We aim to launch the final coin only next year |

I have to wonder, why would people bypass the principles and governance model of Decred which allows on-chain community votes and proposals for basically any consensus changes you can imagine, in order to force their own consensus changes without community approval?
There isn't much of anything Decred in this project:
- The way changes are introduced is against what Decred stands for,
- It's not a fork of the blockchain, because you have to strip the currently 3,804,324 DCR (213,688,879$) of stakes from stakeholders in order to introduce changes they never voted for and agreed to. If you would retain the current stakes, your project would be DOA and unable to produce blocks.
- Piggybacking on the name of a successful project for an unrelated coin that doesn't even share a blockchain history isn't something any serious dev would do
You are of course free to copy the open source code and do anything you want with it, but this strikes me more as a HCASH copycat than anything Decred.

Thanks for your response and this will be taken into account as soon as we can evolve with the project. I do not want to divulge false information without first being sure the project will be well done. This post was created to reserve the name and acronym If there is any unforeseen circumstance that we can not use the name "Decred Cash" we will be creating a vote with the community to choose a new name. |
