Morning guys,

Once again, BlockChain API has failed me. The code which imports new TXs into the database is reporting 503 errors (this happens when BlockChain is being attacked and invoke CloudFlare);

HTTPError: HTTP 503: Service Unavailable

I'll manually add those TXs now.

I'm glad to see the majority has worked fine for the last 7-8 hours. Today, I'll be working on moving away from BlockChain API completely!

Keep investing guys, the slowdown is only due to lack of deposits now, we're good to go!!

Sorry for the delay, we had some major problems yesterday which made the payments take longer, this shouldnt happen again.

Everything is working as expected now, and the payout has been increased to 150% for the next 48 hours to say sorry for yesterdays problems.

As soon as people start depositing again, more payments will be processed.

Small deposits should slowly return, otherwise it is difficult to get large deposits of return.

Good morning, Areast! Smiley

It doesn't look funny, the number of deposits isn't enough to even keep the ponzi alive!
This is the biggest problem now. Any ideas what to do with this? I think lots of people has gone to the ponzi.pw.

Morning Glen,

The payments have been increased to 150% so hopefully, as kk988 says, deposits will start coming through again soon.

We reached our peak around 10:30 GMT yesterday, so a couple of hours from now, hopefully when more players come online they will reinvest again.

I've put a lot of time into the site, and learned a hell of a lot along the way Cheesy I'm hoping we can keep this going for a little longer yet Smiley

Thanks for the feedback Greg, you guys are the best marketing tool any game can have, so spread the word. The more players that deposit, the more payments we can make, making more winners Wink

UPDATE: I've created a new page where you guys can check your own transactions; http://bitvestment.co.vu/checkTx.php

If you think the results are wrong, please let me know!

Are you going to make a new ponzi after the death of this one?

It's not something I've thought about yet, I'm hoping we can keep this one going for a while yet Smiley

A service fee is taken to cover hosting costs ~$20 a month (AWS is quite expensive Wink), but as you can see from the wallets transaction history, nothing has been withdrawn for this yet and I will continue to pay for the hosting personally until the game takes off again. See: http://bitvestment.co.vu/about.php

Due to the logic behind the repayments, the wallet will never be left with large sums of coins in it. The script systematically goes through each deposit, in deposit date\time order, and repays what it can, meaning every possible deposit will be repaid leaving the wallet with a few satoshi at best Smiley This was an intentional design requirement to be as transparent as possible with you guys.

My main reasoning for building BitVestment was my frustration of other Ponzi games, waiting for the owner to pay out, or at worse the owner to run away with everyones coin's. Also, being a "techie", just learning a new coding language is a huge benefit to me professionally.

that was my thoughts exactly i like how its so transparent..u should postr that in the starter thread, i think ppl are afraid to give it a shot but if u put that info out there n they can check it (which they can) they might be alot more willing to give it a try...i kno i was!
