Hi,

I'm new to the forums, I've just gone through all of the sticky'd threads and I had a few more questions.
I've been doing some research on and off on bitcoin for a few weeks now and I'd love to get buying. However I'm not sure where the best place to purchase them would be at this time because I had my eye on mtgox and then they started having problems. Given that their bitcoin value is dropping, i'm guessing despite that, it would not be wise to use that exchange?

Any links or advice would be great. I'm willing to read and learn a lot more. I need to learn a lot more. If you're willing to help of course.

Thanks!

I should also add that I'm in Australia (an important piece of info)... I know this narrows it down and i've had a hard time with this because I know MtGox was accepting AUD to my knowledge

it is always right to buy BTC, as long as you can hold it long enough
